Very good selection of vol-au-vent pastry cases to recreate an Eighties theme for a birthday party

Indigestion
Made a few simple test fillings (things I would happily eat on toast). The canape cups were solid and the puff pastry shells had a dry. floury texture. They may have been improved by a short high oven exposure - I'll never know. Indigestion and the remainder thrown to the birds it enough to not use these again.

Very good but dont expect them to all be intact
Love these, buy a lot over the years, they are super but expect a few that are broken, happens nearly every time.
