High quality static line
The thickness is actually 7/16" (11.11mm) and is very nice. Quality sheath and light weight. I got black and it is a very cool matte ultra dark charcoal. Ive never been happier with a purchase. This rope will last many years.

Easy to Work With; Strong; Great Price: What's Not to Like?
This rope has an excellent hand and was perfect for a door mat (okay, way overkill for a door mat . . . ). I have no idea what the Working Load Limit is for this rope but it should be pretty high for a solid braid. A terrific value at $0.33/foot.

The right size, and strength for basic tree climbing.
1/2" diameter is perfect for ascender and most other rope grabs. Static rope is adequate for tree climbing because fall height isn't as serious as mountain climbing where dynamic rope provides better life saving capabilities.

Good for ground work
Good value. I do not know about climbing with it but for rigging up some pulleys to get some leaners down, this rope works.

Good but not great
I was looking for a rope to do some tree work and repelling. The rope is strong and seems durable, but it is also quite stiff and somewhat slick in texture, meaning it can be tough to knot and get friction knots like a prusik and a Blake's hitch to bite. Also, when using a Blake's hitch to ascend, I noted the sheath moving somewhat significantly. It didn't cause any major issues, but I was also only testing it out for maybe 15 minutes, not relying on it for high ascents, significant movement up and down the rope, or high stresses. Additionally, the stiffness of the rope makes it hard to coil, hard to shape knots correctly, and holds kinks and twists in the rope. Having said that, I didn't pay a lot for this rope and probably got what I paid for. I will use it, but will probably not rely on it alone for high stakes applications. I think a trusted name brand like black diamond is a worthwhile investment for long term serious use.

Strong and durable
This is a very durable outdoor rope for use in construction, forestry etc... It is not for mountain climbing, but is great for securing yourself while working at heights.
