Works well at keeping in dogs of all sizes!
This is a great collar!I had previously purchased a different wireless dog fence collar and it was really ineffective for keeping our stubborn dog around. It simply was annoying to him but did nothing to keep him from getting out. So, I didn't have a lot of hope for this one. However, once I got it set up, the very first time he tested the boundary sent him running back to the safe zone. One of our dogs is very large with very long and thick fur, so sometimes shock collars aren't effective, but this is!For our 2nd dog, she is much smaller and responded quickly to the beep and vibration. I like that I can turn the shock feature off.I also like that I can easily adjust where the center of their pen is by simply standing in a different location when the collar is turned on.For all those saying that it won't pick up satellites, I thought that too at first. When I was setting it up, it first showed 00 satellites foundat every location i tried. I was starting to give up thinking it wouldnt work. But finally, I stopped still to set it up. Tue collar blinked and finally sbowed 00. I then gave it a few more minutes and began walking he fence perimeter. After that the satellites number started showing up to 10-12 and the collar worked perfectly.Cons:-the collar itself is rather low quality. I don't have a lot of hopes it'll last very long. However, it looks to be easily replaced.-the battery life isn't GREAT, but not terrible either. A full charge lasts our dogs about 24 hoursOverall, great collar for the price

The best dog training collar!
I waited a little bit to write a review to see if it worked for our puppy....but I'm so happy we tried this collar out! It works so well! We have an 11 month old Australian Shepherd..and he needs to get out and run. With this collar we are able to set up satellite coordinates that allow him enough area to get a good amount of exercise with peace of mind. He caught on really quick to the adjustable borders. Our biggest concern was making sure he stayed back from the road infront of our house...and this collar has done its job in training him to stay back from the road. Even for the few times we let him off without the collar on he will stay back because he remembers the "invisible" boundary. Hands down one of the best things we've bought for him is this collar...it's provided him happiness to be off a leash and gives us peace of mind knowing he won't run out on the road or take off. The satellite boundaries offer a huge amount of space. And was easy to set up. My 14 year old son likes to set up the coordinates. The one and only thing I would change about this collar is just making the collar out of sturdier canvas material, with a more secure metal loop to secure on your dog. We had to attach a little clasp to make sure it doesn't fall off while he's playing. Other than that...it's been a true life saver for the happiness of our puppy and for us! Would 10 out 10 recommend!

Great value collar
I recently bought 2 gps collars for our dogs after years of RF type fences. These collars are a great value compared to other gps collars on the market, and seem to be well made. No training was needed in my case, but liked the option of vibration vs shock. My dogs responded instantly. We gave a 1 acre property and the lowest perimeter works well to keep them off the road. I also like the recharge option, vs battery changing all the time, and savings over time.My only suggestion is the programming responsiveness is a bit slow, so patience is required. Once set, all works well, just takes some time. Also, I wish there was a switch to turn off. Pressing the buttons is a guess at length, and takes time to figure this out. Overall, great product

Works well especially for the price!
We live in a rural area, and first tried radio collars - total failure. We tried other gps collars, but many of the "features" like tracking didn't work well without wifi AND they cost about 4x as much as the Weiz. They kept breaking and we'd have to send them back, which meant our dogs had no collars for at least 3 weeks. (This is after having them for less than 90 days.) We sent them back.We decided to give the Wiez collars a try. They have worked the best of all at a fraction of the price. Our dogs stay put and we are getting a second pair of collars. One collar came loose and the control box fell off... somewhere. We can't find it, so that is one issue, but the next set we may put some sort of grommet on the end to keep the box from being able to slide off. Still the best ones we've found. We also like the reflective material the collars are made of. It makes it easy to spot our dogs with flashlights on the ranch at night. A big plus.

Please don't buy these! Completely inhumane!
I made the mistake of reading the reviews and not thoroughly researching this product before purchasing. Having just moved with our 3 Huskies from a 100 acres to a long and skinny 20 acre parcel. I was becoming desperate to contain the dogs to our property. They began wondering the busy roads and it became my worst fewr of them getting close to itThey arrived super quick and set up was a breeze. I fully tested the parameter to ensure I knew exactly where our dogs could and couldn't go and marked it with flags (which was no small feat in our heavily wooded area) I noticed right away when the device beeped it also vibrated. I tried to adjust the serting but found you had to turn the vibrate off completely if you didn't want them to go at the same time. I had the shock completely turned off and decided to start training (on leash) to show them the beep/ vibrate and back into the "safe zone". After 2 hours of the initial setup, it started going off anywhere within 10-15 feet of the boundary lines. As I was trying to show them the "safe zone" and literally saying "good boy safe zone" (well within the boundary) it starting beeping and vibrated them!!! The look on my dogs face was absolute horror and heartbreak. I decided to test it again the next day and put the shock on with the tester piece, turns out if you go near the line it does all three at the same time without warning !!!! No prior beep for getting close, just full beep, vibrate and SHOCK. This is completely inhumane for dogs!! There is no warning they are even close! You are literally teaching them by shocking them without cause. I seen a review somewhere in here that the shock on a human put them on their butt. Think about the training and what you are literally leash walking your dog into to teach them the perimeter. I hope my dogs forgive me for ever putting these collars on them. And with the unreliability of the GPS signal one day a spot is safe, and the next it isn't! This is just cruel and confusing for any dog. I returned and will be buying an in ground wire with proper warning signals.

Works Amazing!
Best Amazon purchase I have ever made! We live on 40 acres and have 2 labs, they have always been free roamers and have always done well staying close to the house, recently we have had a lady walking the road who will call our dogs by name and talk to them oh so nicely , they have been now running to her and running down the road (many discussions have been had with her) we purchased these and they arrived the next day, set up was super easy, we went to the back corner of our property for the set point, so they still have free range of the back but the boundary sits right before the road. The dogs were already trained on a remote beep and buzz collar so training was less than a day, we have been using for over two weeks and have not had any malfunctions or concerns, we do charge every night per other reviews, but we couldn’t be happier with this purchase!

Not Quite Set-&-Forget, But Very Effective Pet Control
When you have acreage, slopes, etc and fencing your dog in is prohibitively expensive, this well-made device saves the day!Because we wanted the "training" to be super simple for the dog, we took time to work a few things out in advance: because our small acreage is just large enough to be suitable for the smallest safe zone radius setting, we needed to get the "center spot" figured out. With a bit of measuring we established a spot for setting the GPS center of the safe zone. You need to do this each time the device powers down, which can also happen when you charge the battery, so having one clear place to set the device up each time is nice. After following the instructions for setting the GPS center, and linking with the satellites, we needed to test the device, first without the dog and with only the beep. I was pleased when the beeps went off where they were supposed to! We added the dog and while he noticed the beep at first, that didn't last long. We left the beep on to remind us of the boundary, and added the vibrate for the dog. Like the beep, after a few outings he was able to move past the alert area with just the beep and vibration. We were concerned. We kept the beep and changed from vibrate to shock. Lowest setting. Instant results! He (Charlie) reacted instantly and thankfully ran right back to us for a tasty treat and lots of praise for coming to us. Over the next few days, he sampled the alert no more than 4-5 times and he was trained. Doesn't go near the boundaries he's discovered for himself and has regained his freedom from the leash. The need to keep the device charged likely means a charge every night, as the stated battery time is b/w 15 hrs full use and up to 50 hrs on standby. If the collar is on the dog, it's in full use as it seems to have a motion sensor that wakes it from sleep. There was one display aspect that was confusing at first: when you start the device, the display will blink "00" for up to a minute while GPS satellites are being linked. You know the linking is successful when the blinking stops. Well, sometimes after a charge, the double-zero can appear, blinking. At first I was sure this meant a new set up for the GPS center spot, but if the number of GPS satellites reporting is under "04" the display will blink - they want "06" or more for a good positioning.. If in doubt, re-center the GPS.But like everything else, after a few attempts (I wanted to write "fumbles..") it starts to make sense and as mentioned in the title, it is an effective device. I was also worried about blockage of the GPS signal from trees, which we have in abundance, but so far, even in the trees, the alert registers every time.I studied the various dog-control options for a while, realized this device was worth a try and now expect that Charlie will not even need it turned on within a short time to be reminded where the boundaries are for his freedom.

Wiez GPS Wireless Dog Fence Collar
We are pleased with the collar(s) so far, overall. We were having trouble with our Border Collie and Golden Retriever leaving our property to roam, but it seems to be keeping the Border Collie home now.We haven't been able to use it with our Golden Retriever yet as the collar strap that came with it is not long enough to fit around his thick neck (that is one downside, wish there were larger collar options). We are looking elsewhere to find a collar strap that we can fit into the GPS Wireless fence attachment. We had a similar collar in the past, different brand, but the battery charging set up is the same. A problem we ran into with the last one is the rubber battery charge port cover/plug wore out and ripped off because it bends awkwardly and sits so tightly against the charge cord when it's plugged in (see photo). Once it comes off it of course leaves the charge port exposed to moisture/getting wet while on the dog. I anticipate having this problem again, which is why I am not giving a 5 star rating. We were pleased to find both collars arrived fully charged.Customer support was prompt in replying to my email regarding the extended warranty. So far battery life is as stated in the product description. We've only had them a few weeks so I can't speak as to whether or not they will stop holding their charge for as long soon or not.

So Far So Good!
I’ve only had the collars for a week or so, but work well so far. The instruction videos I found online are great, as the written ones are not very clear. Keeping my girls in the yard so far!
