Range Rover: 40 Years of the 4x4 icon Hardcover – 31 May 2010

This is a fantastic Book & gave the in-site to a Great car.The Book follows the theme of a Book magazine that flows through on the subject from 1 to the previous book on this subject.But 1 point out that Mr Taylor (author) has missed the Range Rover Special Vehicles model called the Rhino which was the 2nd most expensive of the 1995 to 2001 special edition P38A Range Rovers of that time.The order of purchase price was CARiN Vogue 50(1998), followed by the RHINO(2001), the 1st most expensive was the Linely(2001).well done guys !.

A very informative and well laid out book.

This book is well laid out in sections covering the design & devolopment , production and special models .Each series of range rover is covered seperately . The photographs are good and there are pre production design models showing how the design progressed . You can pick up and dip into this book easily and learn a lot of interesting facts about this great car .

This book is very well structured and with relevant information. Has very good photographs too. Exceeded my expectations and captures the Range Rover stories very well!

As usual a pretty comprehensive overview book by James Taylor. Not too strong on the design phase leading to the very first Range Rover but then more than makes up for it with very good coverage of variants, production processes, and the design phases of the later P38, L320/L322 and RRS. Nice selection of photographs and especially good pictures of Solihull manufacturing for the different RR generations. Highly recommended.

La bibbia del settore, un po' pesantuccio da leggere perché non esiste la traduzione in italiano, ma è l'unico testo sull'argomento che sia corredato di tutte le informazioni e tantissime foto. Ampio spazio anche alle versioni speciali che si sono succedute nel tempo.

awesome book - great for anyone who loves this vehicle..

I have many Land Rover books and this one really pulls together the Range Rover history in a clear fashion. I have owned a Classic, A P38, and now a third generation RR.

Very thorough and well written. Interesting without being too technical, but plenty of tech information is included. A great book for the RR enthusiast.
