SKF has the reputation of quality and long-lasting bearings- this one appears fit that reputation.
Very nicely made bearing though honestly I could not easily tell any difference from new, compared to the Detroit Axle (less costly) hub I put in the other side of the same car just before. So a little experiment being lived out here- both are fitting and working great now. We'll see if I change my tune in a few months or years. Not a difficult job to replace the hub assembly on the Legacy (once the rusty bolts are out and properly protected from rust on re-install).

Excellent build quality
I did a bit of internet research. The OEM part is crazy expensive, but the SKF seems to be next in line for quality and price/value vs all the others. It installed just fine and already put a few hundred miles with no issues. I bet the other side will go soon and will also use SKF with no hesitation.Edit: After 1000 miles still no issues. Sold the vehicle but i'm certain its a quality product and will not hesitate to buy SFK again.

Worked fine disappointed it was sold as new currently returning the same part that said used like new will rethink buying auto parts from Amazon especially when it takes 30 days to get a refund

Perfect!
After reading a lot on the different brand of wheel bearings for my '08 Legacy I'm glad that I paid more to get the SKF. No nightmares of cruise control failing to engage or abs sensor errors. Part felt strong, good quality, good fit, and so far is working like a charm. I bought the car with the issue and now that the annoying wub wub wub wub sound is gone I can feel at peace and enjoy my new car. Would only buy SKF if any of the other wheel bearings go, very pleased.
