Perfect replacement
This is an exact replacement for my 1961 Chevy Truck and fit perfectly.

Perfect so Far...(See the edit below)
My 235 in my 54 Chevy truck had a hard time staying at idle, and when it would idle it be at 1000rpm no lower. Also was leaking from the throttle shaft. Rebuilt it numerous times and had gotten worse over time. Installed the new carb, did a few minor adjustments and now I idle smoothly at 500rpm.. I did also have a problem where the vacuum is but got the fitting to go in, but this was the only issueEdit 10/7/23Went to start the truck today and the carb started spitting gas all over, ran fine last night. Just ordered a replacement, hopefully it will last longer than this one. I haven't had a chance to drive it yet

Perfect fit
The media could not be loaded. Carburetor is light. Mounted the carburetor and it fit perfectly,as original. Connect all lines and throttle linkage I didn't have to modify anything. No leaks and I didn't have to adjust the idler, carburetor was right on point. Definitely recommend 👍

Rethreaded fuel line and vacuum advance connections
Unfortunately, the threads for the fuel line connection and vacuum advance needed to be rethreaded prior to use due to not meeting OEM specifications.

Good price and the units works well
The only issue is the thread on the vacuum port were not quite right for a direct replacement. Unit works well. Fits up to the manifold perfectly.

Rochester B 1 barrel carburetor fits 1950-1959 Chevy & GMC 235 inline 6 cylinder
I bought this carburetor for my 1951 Chevy 3100 truck because the original one leaked by the bowl where the linkage went in and I just couldn't fix it so I got this one. From the moment I took it out of the box I was impressed by how much it looks like the original one. it was very easy to hook up, it mounts better than the original and it comes with a really thick mounting gasket that gives it a great seal to the manifold. I have a problem with the threads where the vacuum line goes into but the seller says that they're willing to try and resolve this problem for me.
