Ai No Kusabi The Space Between Volume 2: Destiny (Yaoi Novel) (AI NO KUSABI SPACE BETWEEN NOVEL)

Often dubbed the classic, the magnus opus, or the Romeo and Juliet of yaoi, AnK is a must read, or certainly a must attempt for any yaoi lover. This particular installment of AnK is certainly a must, it focuses on Iason and Riki, the two central characters, and tells the tale of their first, life changing, meeting. The author creates a detailed world with twisting unfolding plot line, leaving the reader wondering, asking questions and grabbing the next installment! From the initially aloof and glacial Iason, the personification of perfection and power to his eventual development and rise as the tragic hero, to the charismatic, head-strong, but good hearted Riki, read AnK because you'll fall in love with and feel for the characters, because you will shiver at the chemistry and power-balance and interaction between them, and also because this reviewer believes there are plenty of 'good parts', in addition to a rich plot, well rounded characters with actual character development, you will end up knowing the characters, emphathize with them, and be caught up in the story, and Riki and Iason's developing relationship and struggle against their dystopic world the same as I am!

Ok! so I saw bits that are accessable on you tube and wanted to read the storie unfortunatly in these books all the "good bits" have been taken out so it becomes a bit on the boring side, A bit of a let down in all.

Ich liebe den Film deshalb habe ich dieses Taschenbuch gekauft, um tiefer in die Geschichte und Charaktere einzutauchen.Leider war es schon nach einem Tag ausgelesen.Ich empfehle es für alle die den Film gesehen haben und einigermaßen gut englisch verstehen.

Because the DVD did little to explain anything because of the very little context, I bought this book hoping to get more insight into this complex series only to be bitterly disappointed. I now find to get the complete insight I have to pay an extreme amount of nearly $200 to buy the book that explains all or buy the Manga newspapers that serialised this Series. I’ve loved what I’ve seen and read but won’t be paying that amount. However having said that there are many made clips on Utube which will give you a further insight into this amazing series.

Para mi es el mejor yaoi que se haya escrito. Es una novela indispensable para una fuyoshi, la cuna del yaoi. La historia es preciosa y muy adulta, con unos personajes muy trabajados y que enamoran.

I first watched the original (OVA1,OVA2)and 2012 remakes (OVA1-OVA4)of Ai No Kusabi animes before reading the books. So when I read the book it just enhanced what I watched in OVA1 of the original anime. It's true that movies cut out alot of things from the book. So if you want to know more of what the anime did not show you, I recommend buying the books to fill in the blanks.

Ich kannte erst den Anime und bin durch Zufall auf die Novellen gestossen und war sehr positiv überrascht. Ich kann jedem die Bücher nur empfehlen, der mehr über die einzelnen Charakter erfahren möchte.
