Our Motif coffee pot stopped emptying all of the water in the reservoir, with about 1/4 inch left each time. looked through all the descaling products and this seemed to be the best quality and the best value for the quantity and honestly I’m more trusting of things made in the Europe, they seem to care about folk’s health over profits US companies have taken to. We now buy poisonous junk in the US at luxury prices but that’s another topic. Worked great on our Motif coffee maker, so much scale came off and our coffee back is back to running normally. We ran water through it 3 x after the initial cleaning. Our coffee pot is back to running perfectly and the coffee tastes smoother.

This stuff is amazing! I've ordered several times now, in various sizes. I have extremely hard water and use this to descale my humidifier and kettle. It works better and faster than anything else I've tried. The packaging is great and I've never gotten bottles that leak. Sometimes the bottles are in German. I speak some German, so I actually think that's pretty cool. And I don't need directions after the first time I used it anyway. But it's something to be aware of in case in might bother you.

Clears the lime very efficiently, just be sure to block an hr out of your schedule to do so. I have the Cuisinart SoHo kettle and it builds lime often so it’s nice to have a trustworthy cleaning product.

This stuff works wonders! I have had several hot water kettles that get scale, even though using a filter system. I have tried scrubbing with baking soda, and too hard. Then used hot water and vinegar and let sit overnight. Nothing worked well at all. This stuff, you use cold and I diluted 1:1 with water in the pot and let sit for an hour. It immediately started to foam and after an hour, with no scrubbing, I just rinsed the pot and it was clean!

This stuff works great!! Cleaned 10 years of buildup off my shower head!! Just like new now!

Petra kaufte und diese Firma diesen Entkalker empfahl. Ich bin sehr zufrieden damit, weil er auch die letzten Kalkreste mitnimmt. Er ist nur zu empfehlen.

I’ve tried countless brands available in Singapore and every YouTube hack to remove stubborn stains from my chrome Hansgrohe rain shower and handheld set, but nothing worked as quickly and effectively as Durgol. This product is a game-changer—I’m never going back to any alternatives! I applied it without diluting, and it was so economical to use. Just one application, and the stubborn stains were gone. Highly recommend it!

I bought to descaler my bodum bistro water kettle. Only a little to cover the surface and half an hour later, my kettle is like new!

This says it’s for coffee makers, I believe, but it works better than anything else I’ve tried on “warm” humidifiers. They can quickly build up very thick mineral deposits. Can be diluted - 1/3 Durgol, 2/3 water or as weak as 1 to 5. The solution works just as well as undiluted, just takes a longer soak, so this product is actually quite inexpensive. It even works when it’s not in direct contact with scale. My new humidifier’s “heating element” sticks up about a centimetre over the water when the unit’s base is as full as it can be (and of course the solution when I use that). There’s always a “cap” of scale left after cleaning, although I can thin it down by scraping. (It seems to be impossible to turn the unit upside down and soak the element that way!) The last time I cleaned my latest humidifier and put one tank full through, (with that cap of scale still sticking to the element), I thought I’d check to see if I might be able to scrape more scale off when it was hot and there was perhaps a bit of descaler in the solution from cleaning. (It works sometimes.) When I pushed at one edge, the cap just popped off! I’ve used all sorts of descalers with all sorts of warm humidifiers where the heating element can’t be covered completely by the anti-scale solution but the top of it still gets a thick deposit just from the steam. This is the first time the scale came off completely and easily. This product is worth every penny, as a thick layer of scale on top of the heating element makes the humidifier much less effective, until it overheats and quits working..
