Very well made
It cleans well, it lathers decently well, the scent is not bad just as expected for a medical shampoo with no fragrance, it helps with my seborrheic dermatitis but nothing too crazy I would say, head & shoulders tops it for that and if it’s getting really bad then ketoconazole shampoo is best. This one is just good as a support for those other treatments. Though you have to be strong minded to wait 5 minutes in the shower before rinsing but that’s just how it is. 5 stars because it is just very well made, nothing wrong nothing to complain just a very nice shampoo that does what it’s supposed to do the best it can be done. I put the ingredients here cause why not

Use this for major scalp relief
OMG!! I was having many scalp issues, and I noticed a big difference even the first time I used this product! My scalp is doing much better now! It has a great smell, most of the itching was completely gone, and I noticed my scalp and hair looking very clean and moisturized!

Expensive but good
Fragrance free, so it has that weird smell when using but after rinsing your hair smells like nothing at all. My conditioner has scent, so that’s fine by me. Makes my hair feel really clean, but I wash my hair every day and I only use this about twice a week. Lathers very well. I didn’t have dandruff to begin with, so I can’t speak to that

Works Decently, but Not the Strongest Anti-Dandruff Shampoo
The Neutrogena Scalp Therapy Anti-Dandruff Shampoo Extra Strength is a solid, widely available option for anyone looking to manage mild to moderate dandruff. I’ve been using it for a while, and I do notice a reduction in flakes and less itching on my scalp. It lathers nicely, rinses easily, and leaves my hair feeling clean and refreshed without being overly harsh. That said, I found it isn’t quite as effective as some other anti-dandruff shampoos I’ve used in the past. For stubborn or severe dandruff, it may not fully control the issue on its own, so you might need to supplement with another treatment. The fragrance is pleasant and not overpowering, which is a nice bonus for everyday use, and the shampoo feels gentle enough to use regularly without drying out hair. Overall, this is a decent choice for those seeking a reliable, easy-to-find anti-dandruff shampoo that works for maintenance and mild cases. It’s convenient, gentle, and helps keep flakes under control, but if you need something more intensive, you might want to explore stronger formulas.

Basically T-Sal with twice as much
T-Sal is great but it comes in a tiny bottle that's not enough for a month's use. This is double that for about the same price. Works nearly just as well. Just wish it had a clear bottle like T-sal you know when you're running out. Maximum strength salicylic acid shampoo to fight dandruff and pore build up. Best on the market for that. I do think T-sal works a bit better. Their formula is slightly different and a bit better, but the very tiny bottles of T-Sal are super annoying because I don't want to have to mess with 2 a month.

Pleasant everyday shampoo: light, non-greasy, rinses out well; i experienced no anti-dandruff effect
i got this because of the anti-dandruff claim. in that regard, i see no effect at all. if we set that aside and just evaluate this product as a plain shampoo, i'd say it's a very pleasant, light, non-oily/non-greasy, easy to use shampoo. it also rinses out thoroughly and leaves my hair clean and quite managable. would i purchase it again? no; i need an effective anti-dandruff shampoo. do i regret this purchase? not at all! as i've said, i really like this product as a pleasant, lightweight shampoo. so the 3 stars are in consideration of the ineffectiveness regarding dandruff. if there were no anti-dandruff claims or factors, and i were rating it just as a daily shampoo --i'd give it 4 to 4.5 stars.

Neutrogena shampoo
I have a very sensitive scalp. I like this shampoo. However, I find if I rotate shampoos, my scalp does a little better. So I cannot say it cured my scalp problem, it does work for my hair.

If you have redness, itchy, flakey, or oily scalp READ THIS!
Ok so all my life I’ve had a VERY oily scalp (oily as in by day 2 my hair looks like it would be on day 5 of no wash, especially because I work out a lot). I would also develop these irritated pores on the lower back part of my head and if I picked them I would literally rip off some dandruff. Thankfully it was never severe but definitely more common than I would like. I recently cut my hair very short to the point where I can see my scalp (I’ve always had my hair very long) and I could see the redness much more clearer compared to before which lead me to taking better care of my scalp. After doing research, everything lead to switching to a shampoo with salicylic acid hence my purchase. Already I can say I have ZERO itching, my redness has improved a lot (and I’m only one use in), my hair is softer, there is no smell which in my opinion is good because any fragrances can cause further irritation but it also does not smell weird or bad, and so far no oiliness! I was skeptic at first reading some of the reviews so I’d like to address some concerns from potential buyers; Remember that everyone is different and what might work for some doesn’t work for others and that’s ok. Just gotta find what works best for you and your scalp. Don’t be afraid to reach out to a dermatologist because it might also be some other underlying issues. There were some reviews stating it doesn’t lather which I will disagree on. It ABSOLUTELY lathers. The problem is we have very oily scalps so I recommend shampooing twice every time you wash your hair. Once to get the first layer of oil out, rinse out, then use a tiny bit more and I promise you it WILL lather. Take your time scrubbing it in all the way to your scalp. In my opinion, it lathers wayyy more than any traditional shampoo I’ve ever used. Because it’s meant for oily scalps it may dry out your ends so regardless of short or long hair, try your best to use conditioner on your ends ONLY, not your scalp. And after your shower, apply some sort of hydrating oil/serum into ur ends as well (me personally, I use coconut milk serum/oil). All I can say is I highly recommend anyone with similar issues as me to give this one a try and see if it works. For the price, it’s worth it there’s much more expensive shampoos out there for less than the amount this comes in. I’m going to try and stick to washing my hair 2-3 times MAX a week using this shampoo!

Bought this looking for that squeaky clean feel but it doesn’t quite give that. Faint medicinal or medicated smell which doesn’t bother me. Will need to use this for longer but I do feel like my scalp becomes slightly less oily using this twice a week.

I didn't like it. It doesn't lather well, feels oily, and could rinse better. Doesn't work as well as many others on the market. Probably finishing bottle as a hand soap
