Helea by Pebble 16A Wi-Fi Smart Plug with Energy Monitoring, for High Power Appliances (AC, Geyser, Motor, etc.), Works with Alexa & Google Assistant

I brought this product mainly to measure the power consumed by various appliances. So far I have used it for 2 months on my Geyser socket (16A) and i am very happy with the product.Installation is very ease. I have primarily used it thru the Halea App. Set schedules for the geyser and works well. When the power goes off during the “on” schedule it doesn’t automatically turn the device back on, however if the power goes off during an “off” schedule it resumes operation quite well.The power measurements were very efficient and was quoted for the whole month and day by day. It was extremely helpful for me to understand the power consumption. I am moving it from one appliance to the other one month at a time to understand the consumption.Remember if you buy the 16A version it will be almost impossible to use it in a 5A socket, so just keep this in mind when you purchase.Overall, I would an excellent device which had been working very well so far on wifi.

Build quality of product is superb. Easy to setup, app has good amount of features. For my use case i had setup it up to turn on the Geyser every morning and turn on off after 20 minutes. One another good feature via automation i had, was to turn off geyser after 20 minutes post whenever geyser has been turned On either physically or via mobile app. Monitoring of KW usage is another a great add on within its app.-ConsIf you are setting up a timer or any time based setting to turn on the device, It won't work if internet is not there. Happened with me, Internet was dead for two days due to a major line break up. During that time, i had to do all the things manually - No timer or scheduled on/off feature worked, it's functionality shrinked down to physical switch not operable via mobile app.

The plug worked perfectly but unfortunately/ fortunately stopped working few days before warranty period ended.I dropped an email to the team and was asked to ship the faulty device. Within a week new plug was delivered by helea team. Got a newer model which is even better than the one I returned.No problems with connectivity, scheduling, timer etc. Not so sure about electricity usage tracking.

I have received the product in good condition. Build quality seemed to be perfect for the price. In excitement i set up the device. It worked perfectly and i was happy till it switched off automatically. But i was hopeful that it could have been accidentally and switched it on again but it kept on swiching off automatically every 1-2 hrs. I reset the device thinking that it will fix the problem but it didn't work for me. I returned the device and still waiting for courier pick up. I am not sure whether particularly my device was defective or in general all helea devices are defective. I will think twice before ordering it again. I am using smar home devices for many years like tp link plug, bulb, smarteefi switch board, nischica switch board, protium swith, wipro smart batten and many smart appliances but this was the first which failed to work.Final word: one may try it

I have purchased this plug from Amazon , but had returned it since received with pack open notsealed.I ordered directly from Helea site where i got with proper sealed packing.Now there are 2 type of plugs available with Helea 1) 10 A & 2) 16AI am taking about 16A plugCompatibilty:Usage :This is heavy duty plug and can be used on Heavy appliances like Geyser, AC etcSocket Size: Plug is bigger in size and fits in only Heavy duty sockets which are meant for AC & Geyser ect.This doesnot fit in 5 A three Pin socket which are smaller in size -- Imp point to be noted.Working:Easy to install,Works perfectly -Haven't used for geyser yet but have tested it with Bulbautomation works perfectly for Bulb i had put on this plug.Software Automation:Scheduled Automation works perfectly. Once automation is scheduled, dont need wi-fi to operate it.( Only scheduled automation works with out wi-fi)Google Assistance :Works seamlessly with Google AssistanceAmazon accepted by return request. Point to note, the seller on Amazon is Helea only.

As this is my second Helea device as the one I choose before was 10ampere.Today I ordered & received yet another 16 ampere device. And the performance no doubt it’s awesome, simply super easy device to setup. I purchased for controlling my AC. Now no more worries of setting my schedule of my AC at late night hours. Received on July 12 and today one of the two purchased stopped working. It’s showing online but there is no power out thus the device connected is not powering up. Return window closed on July 22 don’t know what to do about it.Update: Contacted directly to Hela Customer Care and the response is positive, they have requested the faulty one to be shipped for possible repair or replacement. Will update soon on the outcome.
