Game changer
I just built a new deck and have repaired many others. Certainly they rot where the screws meet the deck under frame. This tape should act as a gasket to stop the rot. The attached picture shows work in progress but all the framing should be taped. I reckon my new deck should last about 20 years or more.

Easy to use
Good quality tape that went down easily adhering well to treated joists made assembly of new deck easy.

Goes on well and easy to use. This stuff adheres well so well in fact that within a minute or so it's immovable. I tried lifting a small section and it takes wood with it! That's a good thing really and difficult to mess up anyway as it's under a deck and perfection is not required. My only grumble is the cost. Its really expensive stuff but then all quality deck tape seems to be.

Brilliant but pricey
Bought this to protect my decking joists.Was originally going to paint the joists with Bitumen paint, but went for this instead.Pros:- Quick and simple to apply- Good adhesion- Immediately waterproofCons:- Expensive. In my opinion, this should be half the price.Overall, I would buy again, but at this price, I'd look for cheaper alternatives first.

Great tape
Brilliant tape and extra tacky.I would not hesitate to reorder if I needed more. The only negative is the price, and I'm sure some good old duck tape at a fraction of the cost would probably do as good a job only time will tell I suppose.

Easily the best
I’ve tried several brands and this is definitely the simplest to use and seems to perform best.No need for scissors as it can be torn straight by hand. Very forgiving of placement and any tangles and then sticks well, even on bends.Can’t comment on longevity yet, but other brands are bubbling and peeling yet this remains smooth.
