The CIA World Factbook 2023-2024

Comprehensive
I wish the book was bigger with bigger print but it is sufficient for the task at hand as a desk reference and as a comparison to other sources for factual information.

Need a Magnifying Glass to Read It
Print’s too small to be of much use.

Poor Printing Quality
The book arrived with tears in the pages caused by the printing machines. Went straight into the trash.

It is one of the best reference publication about the countries of the world.
Tho only complaint I have is that in the past few editions in the appendix section the International Organizations and Groups, Cross-reference List of Country Data Codes, Cross-reference List of Geographic Names and Weights and Measures were missing. Europol should be listed under International Organization. Also since the Sovereign Military Hospitaller Order of St. John of Jerusalem, of Rhodes and of Malta has an observer status at the UN, they should be mentioned there, also they should have their own entry because they do have extraterritorial status of their three possessions, have diplomatic relations with over 100 countries, etc., so technically they should be regarded as the smallest country in the world!!
