I’d been thinking about getting a home soda machine for awhile. When the price of 12 packs of Diet Coke hit $10 I decided to pull the trigger. I’m so glad I did.I picked the DrinkMate from the other available home soda machines because it’s the only one that fizzes almost any liquid, so long as there’s no pulp. The others only fizz water. I haven’t tried anything besides water, but I like having that option.This simple little machine is a wonder. No electricity required, its powered solely by the carbonated bottle, which screws into the unit with an easy twist. 4 quick pushes of the button and a little syrup and I have 32 oz of Diet Pepsi. And it takes up very little countertop space. Mine is squeezed between the microwave and toaster.Which brings me to my lone quibble, although it’s not DrinkMate’s fault. The only name brand soda syrup available on the market are a few Pepsi brand flavors. They’re all the real deal and taste good. But I’m a Coca Cola guy and I miss that flavor. There are numerous generic options available however and I plan on trying those out.As far as the economics of making your own soda at home, it’s a no brainer. A four pack of Pepsi syrup is about $15 and each bottle replaces two 12 packs. DrinkMate offers coupons on their website for CO2 refills to offset the cost, and the bottles last a long time. Also, you’re not locked in to using DrinkMate brand bottles. You can replace them with lower cost alternatives. If you drink a lot of soda like me, then this DrinkMate pays for itself in about a year.

I bought the Drinkmate Omnifizz to use on a boat to allow us to have fizzy drinks anytime and to limit can and plastic bottle waste. The Drinkmate Omnifizz worked amazingly well. There is a learning curve on how long to press the button to add gas but this is not unique to this product. The Drinkmate Omnifizz takes up minimal counter space. It is sturdy. Ours fell over a few times while underway due to not storing it away and it works fine. We enjoyed being able to make fizzy water or drinks anytime we wanted. So refreshing after a day in the salt water. Fizzy Gatorade was tasty! Highly recommend if you like fizzy drinks and are tired of the can/bottle waste.

I didn’t know I needed this until I needed to charge up a liquid other than water. It uses the CO2 very efficiently. The caps that do the work are solid.

The process is pretty simple. You don’t need to plug it in or use batteries!We mostly use it for water and my husband says it tastes just as carbonated as a Topo Chico. He loves it!I have carbonated hibiscus tea and apple juice. They were both great.The machine is so lightweight and thin. It’s tall to fit the bottles so doesn’t fit on smaller shelves but does fit under my cabinet and on the counter.

The media could not be loaded.  Hey, first off, I'd like to begin this review by saying that their website offers better deals than the Amazon. You'll likely pay full price on Amazon, but their website offers a constant 10% off, and I've had up to 20% off from there. Secondly, they do not cover return shipping prices through Amazon unless it's damaged or defective, and probably not on their website too.Why I'm knocking off 4 stars. It just sucks when you try to cancel an order an hour after it's placed in the middle of the night. Only for them to send it to you anyways during the next day. Then being forced to pay $60 in shipping fees because UPS is the only option who will let you send pressurized Co2. The customer service just wasn't there for me. Could have avoided this problem if they accepted my order cancelation within those 12 hours of wait time.That aside, the product is pretty great. I bought one through their website at a 15% discount. I'm still losing an extra $20 because off the whole shipping thing. So, you can take my word for it. This thing carbonates better than the Sodastream. It's also more efficient. I used the Sodastream's most recent model the Terra and in comparison, 5 pumps on that machine are like 2 pumps on this one. And when you hit the button one more time on the Drinkmate and hear the noise letting you know it's fully carbonated. Trust me it definitely is. It's like Mcdonald's Sprite, you will feel it in your nose and your throat. The fact you can also carbonate anything is a massive plus. My first beverage with the machine was a lemonade, and it was so fizzy it made me gag. 10/10 experience.

This unit is so easy to use , the price was great for the kit, and the sparkling water it produces is top quality. By by all you store brands and Mr.B my house is now self sufficient!!! 🙌😍🥳Fill my cup, fill it up to over flow !!!

If you’re a seltzer drinker, you need this! We use a lot of seltzer and we’re constantly buying liters and now it’s so great that we never have to again. This machine couldn’t be easier to use. We were debating between this and soda stream and ultimately decided on drink ate because it can carbonate more than just water whereas soda stream can only do water. It takes a couple seconds to make and we never have to buy seltzer again and you can use it anywhere because it doesn’t need power. The extra co2 and bottles are great to have. The seltzer tastes great alone but I also got a variety pack of the bubly drops on here and we instantly have delicious flavored seltzer. It’s better than anything we’ve bought in stores. The flavors are natural and not at all synthetic tasting. This purchased was definitely a win! We can’t wait to make cold brewand wine spritzer. You can even bring flat soda back to life in seconds. If you’re a seltzer drinker, you will love this!
