Rubie's Official Supergirl Kids Fancy Dress Girl's Superhero Childrens Costume Outfit, World Book Day

I bought this for my 4 year old daughter, she's in to supergirl as the boys at the childminders are into superheros. We put it on and it's fantastic! Good fit, it seems to be well made, no loose stitching or anything. The boot covers work well, they do ride up a little bit not a problem. She's very happy with it!

I ordered this costume for my daughter who is 3 and having a superman themed party at pre-school next week. The costume arrived within 2 days of ordering.I must say I have purchased my fair share of kid's dress up, and this costume is of extremely good quality, especially considering the reasonable price. It looks just as good in real life as on the picture, and my daughter has not wanted to wear anything else ever since I showed it to her. She is a tall child, average weight, and the 3-4 y size fits her well, with room to grow into. The skirt ends at her knees. The boot leggings fit well over a standard plimsole or shoe and are fastened below the shoe by velcro elasticated band. They are a bit on the bigger side and then to roll down but I wouldn't expect tight fitting leggings of this sort being that they are aimed at kids.The blue velvet top and the superman logo are very well made and the skirt and cape are made of shiny red material which is light and drapes nicely. The cape is detachable by velcro. The golden belt is a good width, padded at the front and could be tied at the back.Very pleased with my purchase, highly recommended!

The Supergirl Girls Fancy Dress Costume Set from Rubie’s Masquerade UK consists of a dress with Superman logo and detachable cape, a separate gold belt and a pair of red boot socks. The cape, skirt and boot socks are a bright shiny red material while the rich blue bodice/sleeves are made of a velvety material with a good quality stitched on “S” logo badge on the chest. The gold belt is also shiny and is suitable for tying while the sleeves and boots are trimmed with the same gold material and the cape has Velcro patches for attaching/detaching. I ordered the small size 3-4 and it is a good fit for my 4-year old granddaughter who normally wears dresses suitable for 116cm height. The boot socks are a bit fiddly to get on and off and these were quickly discarded but overall this is a good value fancy dress costume which is well made with vibrant colours and looks great – perfect for a little Supergirl.

Really good outfit, pretty good quality! The only drawback is that the boot covers don't stay over shoes and are too small for this size outfit, my child doesn't have unusually large feet for the age group either. Sized a little large on her as she only almost 5 so will still be good for next year, apart from the boot covers! Would recommend though!

Got this for my 5 year old who wears age 7-8 clothes and it fitted her well .Is quite thin so if wearing to an function you may need to wear layers under it

Had to review this to say what a noticeably high-quality costume this is! I've had a few for my daughter over the years and most have been pretty average in the quality-stakes... However, this costume is really very well made indeed.The cape, skirt, and boot-socks are a lovely, shiny red cloth which really gives the costume a bit of glitz, and the blue body of the costume is made of a nice, soft sort of crushed-velvet material. The 'S' logo on the chest is a 'proper' stitched on badge, and not simply an ironed-on one as some other costumes might have.The fit is really good, too - there's a golden belt that is 'loose' and can be tied around the waist of the costume to cinch it in a bit more if it's loose, and the cape is also detachable - with velcro fastenings, if your little superhero needs to send it to the dry cleaners, or whatever!Basically, a very impressive quality costume, built to last and it looks fantastic too - would absolutely recommend this!

This costume is FANTASTIC!! I ordered it quickly from Amazon because my daughter has a superhero Children in Need day this Friday so when I ordered it weeks ago I didn't pay much attention to the design. However, upon receiving it I was thrilled with it. The bodice is blue velvet with little golden cuffs and the red skirt, cape and boot covers are a lovely shimmery material that really set the whole things off. Luckily my daughter has already worn this to a friends superhero birthday party at the weekend and I got quite a few comments about it from other mums about how great it looked! The only small downside is that I am going to sew the gold belt to the front of the dress to keep it in place as it does rather slide about a bit if just tied to itself, but no big issue at all. Do they do these in adult sizes I wonder?!

Had a weeks notice to get my daughter a superhero outfit and she wanted this one but I wasn’t keen. After arriving only two days later, I was so pleased with the outfit it’s better quality than I expected and I think the boot covers are great. I have one very happy little girl who can’t wait to wear this for superhero day at school!
