Brooks Women's Revel 5 Neutral Running Shoe

The Brooks Revel 5 has been an excellent running shoe. It’s lightweight, breathable, and feels comfortable right out of the box. The cushioning is soft without being too squishy, and the neutral support works well for both running and long days on your feet. The fit is true to size and the style is sleek enough to wear casually. A great all‑around shoe for workouts, walking, or everyday comfort.

I absolutely love these shoes!!! I am a size 8.5, and even though most reviews mention to size up I ordered an 8.5. They fit perfectly! The purple leopard print is so adorable, and they are wonderfully comfortable and supportive. I am a medical assistant in a super fast paced Ortho level one trauma clinic. On clinic days I'm on my feet all day long, easily over 10,000 steps in a day. These shoes are an absolute perfect fit for someone who is on there feet at work all day. I also have high arches and tender heels ( I am a navy vet, and my feet are seasoned from my days of marching and being a navy cook - years of being in my feet for 12 hour shifts in steel toe boots)- With all of that being said these brooks orthopedic shoes are everything I need and have been looking for. I've tried new balance, Asics, Reebok's, and Nikes. So far these Brooks Ortho shoes are my favorite ❤️

A little pricey but super comfy especially for long hours as a nurse

So I recently got a job in health care. Before my job in health care I was on my feet standing for 8+ hours a day.. and then when I went to healthcare it’s about 10+ hours a day. I had been going through shoes so quickly and my feet and legs ALWAYS hurt! I noticed my coworkers talked about Brooks so I decided to buy some when the sale came around. BEST SHOES EVER!! They are like walking on air!! I can’t even tell I’m wearing tennis shoes. The shoes fit true to size (I didn’t order up). I would suggest going to a shoe store to find the right fit. My feet do not hurt after a full shift anymore!! My leg and knee pain have also improved tremendously! If you’re on the fence about brooks- spend the money and invest in these shoes!! Your feet will THANK YOU!!

Many years ago I went to a sporting goods retail store to buy a really good sneaker because I was having trouble walking & standing without causing worse ankle, knee, and hip pain. I also need an orthotic for arch support and to prevent pronating. The rep who took care of me was a runner, and she watched how I walked, then recommended Brooks brand. She gave me 3 different styles to try out with my orthotic. The first one was pretty good, but the second style, the Revel 2, was immediately the best comfort & support I’d ever tried I tried on. I did try on one other which was a good fit, too. But the Revel 2 was hands-down the best shoe I’d ever tried. Over the years I walked an untoward number of steps, both indoors & outdoors. I soon ordered another pair so I could keep one exclusively for inside the house. These have lasted almost forever, the padded collar being really the only sign of wear & tear. They have been through elliptical training, pavement walking, dirt trail walking, winter walking, tai chi, and go on every vacation. I started keeping one pair in the car so I would always have them in case my feet began to hurt in other shoes. When it was finally time to get new ones, the Revel 5 was the most updated incarnation. They were reasonably priced for the quality, but not nearly as well-made as the Revel 2. The fabric & materials of this Revel 5 shoe are lighter and less sturdy. I don’t think these will hold up the way the others did. Thankfully, the fit is just as good!! My 4 stars rating is because the materials are inferior to the Revel 2. But as far as comfort goes, the fit is still 5 stars to me - LOVE THESE SHOES, CANT LIVE WITHOUT THEM!

So comfortable! Lots of support! Absolutely loved them since day 1 when I tried them on. I got lots of compliments from my coworkers in the beginning. I stand and walk around work all day (8 hours plus) but there’s no pain at the end of the day. I got them originally because I needed something with support after having knee surgery. My feet don’t hurt at the end of the day. Compared to my new balances that I bought these brooks are amazing. They do get worn out and dirty pretty quickly if you’re using them as an everyday shoe especially since they’re white. I loved them so much I bought a second pair of Brooks although they are a bit different. So this first pair will be for work and my second pair will be for running errands or going to the gym. I just wish some of the colors were cuter.

I have a high arch and RA. So finding the right shoes for activity can be difficult. I have heard about Brooks for years and that I had to try them - but honestly, I’m years past, the bright and tacky color combinations that the brand typically has offered were not something that I could stomach. I personally don’t want my shoes to be a off-beat color combo of robins egg blue, brown, and neon orange. Maybe that is just me though?? Cause they sure love their wacky color combos at Brooks! I saw these though… and that they have started to make some traditional, classic… and dare I say cute and classy color combos for their shoes now. I LOVE the colors they used for these shoes, and they look pretty, subtle, and sleek. I snapped them up to give them a try for the first time. I love these shoes! I typically wear a couple different versions of the asics that are said to be better for a high arch and plantar fasciitis. I have liked those, they get the job done… except I still need to add an insert to use them for exercise to avoid foot pain later. These brooks are adorable and I have not been using the inserts at all. At this point, no foot pain at all, and I LOVE the way they look too! Roomy toe box, comfortable, can wear them for an extended time with no problems AND they are cute!?! Jackpot!

Brooks must be one of my favorite running shoes 👟. They have a wide toe box 🎁 that's important for wide footed people like myself. I purchased Nike pegasus the older model they were great but now how Nike are today are so narrow for my feet 10 minutes on my feet were killing me. Brooks you are the best.

I've had them for several months now. They're perfect and super comfy for running and walking. I wear them in all seasons except winter. I remember it was hard to find a perfect sized runners, but these ones fit perfectly. In super hot summer weather they can get a bit hot, but that's super hot summer for you. And I don't get it hot much of the time in England anyway and it's cold in the office with all the ACs, so these runners tick my boxes. I don't need to say how stylish they are because they're obviously super stylish and I love it too! Anyway, I super recommend these runners.
