It did not work as smoothly as shown in the video.The soldering wire got all jammed up and did not got out at the other end. You have to open the side to make sure it goes through the second hole correctly.The solder wire kept going away from the hot tip.It heat up quickly and still worked better than the pen shape soldering iron.

Fantastic soldering gun, easy to use one hand operation. Great product for the money.

I purchased this soldering gun for the exclusive reason that it had "One handed operation, with the solder wire feed". However, with hours of trying, I have not been able to get it to work correctly. PErhaps I am not doing something correctly.The wire feeds into the gun, but does not enter the tube, instead coming out by the trigger. Pushing the tube in tightly does not. help. I was finally able to get the solder wire to move correctly. The wire had mis-fed and coiled inside the gun. There is a way to open a cover into the inside the gun to remove the coiled colder. You need to be very careful and check the solder feeding tube is FULLY inserted, or you will have my problem. The seller was very responsive to my questions,. But would have been better to not need the help

Heats up nicely and the solder auto feeder makes it easy to use. A much better product than the older pen shaped soldering irons. Kit comes with everything that you need to get started at a fair price. Happy that I got it!

Once you get it threaded it works smoothly. Although the panel is a bit of a pain to remove so you can thread the solder into the tube. I like that the soldering gun heats up in just over a minute.This soldering gun appears to be a little on the cheap side, but it works well, even so this kit is a good value for your money.

Great little item. This soldering kit comes with a few accessories. What I really like is the auto solder feed function which gives me the freedom to use my other hand to do other stuff instead of manually feeding the solder to the tip. Auto feed is good sometimes at other time is lags a little not sure if I install the solder line correctly but other than that this soldering gun is solid.

Very convenient and allows for one handed use. However, the solder feed can be finicky and takes some patience. Practice is what is needed with this soldering iron. It takes getting temp, solder feed and motion coordinated to make good clean solder joints. Once you get it down, it works well.

Complete piece of junk. Probably a fire or electrical shock hazard..
