Blue Pure 411 Black Pre-Filter, Washable Fabric Traps Pollen, Pet Hair & Dust, Dark Shadow

BEWARE: This *does not* fit the 411+. (I didn't realize there were two 411 types.) Unfortunately, I didn't read carefully enough. I loved the red. It is not too sheer. Sadly, the 411+ only come in 1 color.)

I will start off by saying I have only had the fabric pre-filter for a few days, so I can’t attest to how it washes or holds up. When I first took the fabric out of the package, I thought there was no way it would fit the machine. But after stretching it, it fits very nicely and was pretty easy to install. I was given the air purifier, so I didn’t have an instruction manual but was able to find instructions on YouTube. I can feel and smell the difference in the air in my bedroom, and love that I can make the blueair purifier a bit more customized with the color options of the fabric pre-filter.

Tighter than my first set but still works great

We have used a BlueAir Purifier for years, it is great for cleaning the air in the bedroom. I was so happy to see these were still available. They arrived in perfect condition, just slip on and you are ready to go. Great Product!

Hesitated to buy the yellow pre-filter cover at first because I saw another reviewer mention how it was not as opaque as they had hoped. However, I wanted to get another pre-filter since I was getting a little tired of seeing the blue and gray pre-filters all the time. Took a chance on the yellow anyway and I'm happy that I did! Although it is somewhat see-through, it's still opaque enough not to be a distraction in normal daylight. The color is more of a golden mango yellow btw than a bright sunshine yellow. The yellow pre-filter also doesn't seem to show the accumulated dust as noticeably. It fit the machine perfectly too, which I found a little surprising because the default pre-filters I received with the machine were both a little short and exposed part of the filter. It's not life or death in deciding a color but if you really want the yellow, why not give it a shot?

Had the other colors for years, but the charcoal & blue made the units stand out. This light grey makes it fade into decor much nicer.

I love my Pure filters. I have 4 of the now, due to allergies (and cats). But you do need to clean (and ultimately replace) these filters from time to time, so I order them on subscribe-n-save here on Amazon. There's not that much to say about this product, other than it's a genuine replacement. I find that I like to have some spares so that I can wash them and while I do, put on a replacement set. One word of caution: when washing, your cold/gentle and then air dry. Otherwise they will shrink and become unusable.
