Dino-zoo
A good family fun. Well made 3D puzzle for 8–9yo. This a foam sheets with picture paper printouts on both sides. I had to assemble bodies myself, the rest was a kid job

Fiddly but fun
I got these to make with a friend who is into dinosaurs and model-building. We are both adults so not quite the intended audience! This is a nicely presented pack of 6 3D cardboard models of different dinosaurs, complete with little display plinths you can build that represent their environments. The dinosaurs are printed on heavy, glossy cardboard and the print quality is very good. They are pre-scored for folding and popped out pretty easily, bar a few small holes which needed a bit of prodding to clear but nothing a sharp pencil or similar couldn’t take care of. There are no real written instructions, just visual diagrams showing where each numbered piece fits. These are clear but not hugely detailed, and the models themselves do not have numbers printed on them so it’s up to you to match corresponding tabs and slots as per the diagram. This was not too difficult for us adults but does require a bit of an eye for detail. Some of the folding and fitting together, particularly on the dinosaur bodies, is pretty fiddly and unfortunately this isn’t helped by the fact that the edges of the cardboard pieces to have a tendency to want to separate into layers and therefore can be difficult to fit snugly into the slots. The finished product looks good though, they are quite impressive and the little display plinths are a nice touch. They are £16.99 at time of review so work out to nearly £3 per model, which I can just about imagine them costing individually, though I’d say it’s slightly on the pricey side. The big thing to be aware of is that although these list their age range as 4-8, younger kids would likely need some help to assemble these. Even if they can see what to do, their motor skills may not be up to holding things in place whilst simultaneously fitting fraying tabs into unruly slots. So do be prepared to give a helping hand, probably best seen as an activity to do together, which is never a bad thing.

Great dinosaur set for your dinosaur loving kids and grandkids
I got this set to give to my grandson to keep him occupied when he is here as he is deep into the dinosaur hole, and he loves them, although grandad has had to help (a lot) as the instructions are difficult to followThe dinosaurs are printed on cardboard, and slot together using little cut out sections, and have cardboard stands to keep them on. There are 6 dinosaurs in the set, from the Stegosaurus to the Tyrannosaurus Rex, and each dinosaur comes on 2 cardboard sheets that you simply push the pieces out of, and then build together.Being very honest here, I would not really class this as a toy, more ornaments that you build (although the listing does say puzzle set). It will be difficult to keep little hands off them, but we shall see how long they last.Still, a recommended gift for inquisitive minds.

Quite fiddly
These were quite fiddly to put together and my niece ended up getting a bit frustrated as she just wanted them to be finished so she could play with them. They do look nice once they're all put together but you can't really play with them as they fall apart quite easily.

Super fun and engaging :)
I love dinosaurs and my nephews love dinosaurs. I also love making things and doing puzzles and while my nephews probably don’t share the same sentiments when it comes to puzzles and they’re more likely to destroy than create - I think we will really enjoy doing these 3D puzzles together :)The set of 6 puzzles comes in a cardboard box which shows you what the models will look like when assembled and inside there are the numerous card stock sheets with perforated cutouts of the dinosaur parts ready to be assembled. The included instruction book is in colour and is easy to read and navigate. Each of the dinosaurs are really well modelled, coloured and the overall execution of the puzzles feels well done and of good quality. The perforations all appear to be uniformly punched and shouldn’t pose a problem when removing the individual pieces from the card stock. My only slight niggle is the price - yes, you’re going to get a good few hours of play out of this kit but I’m not quite sure it’s nearly £23 worth but I still think it’s a fantastic set!

4 year old loved it
Ordered for a 4 year old and he loves it. Was simple enough that he managed with minimal help yet challenging enough that it kept him entertained for a while plus he was amazed at the final product.

Good fun
Theyre good fun to do with the kids. Simple to put together bot hard to follow the instructions. It comes with quite a few dinosaur designs and types. Theyd probably break easily after the kids playing with them for a while but they're quite good as dino decorations
