Lots of cutting and tiny precise piecing
A disclaimer. I am an art quilter. I enjoy embroidery, appliqué and painting. I am not a fan of tedious tiny piecing.i only did this because my daughter asked me to make it. If you enjoy cutting (there are 480 2.5” squares to cut), minute precise piecing with exact .25 inch seam allowances, then this is the quilt project for you! Also, since the strips are cut with pinking shears, thebpinking shear side is a tiny bit larger than regular rotary cutting. Make sure all the pinking shear sides are facing the same way, or your quilt will be off. The bias cut on the snowball section stretches. So, you will need to pin carefully to keep the border straight. The flannel is lovely. The quilt is very nice. Just not the best quilting experience for me.
