Bayron wired door chime
Bought to replace my very old chime which dinged but didn't dong.Very easy to install with three wiring options, with clear instructions.A nice chime sound, small chime box, plain wipe easy case. Affordable.Definitely recommend.

Ding Dong - not Dong Ding
I found that there is no screws at all in this box, so not any wall fixing or cable clips were included at all.Although i can do it myself i feel that this should have been clearer in package, or in the description here., as the instruction stated they were included. This bell kit is really a lot smaller than i initially though, however it still functions as well and can hear it normally.I would say that be aware of how the bell is wired, as if you hear the bell sound when it is installed, and it doesn't sound ding-dong, but as a dong-ding, then you need to swap the connection on the bell wires - as it is playing the first chime and second chimes the wrong way round - this is not clear either what connection is the first 'ding' then the second 'dong' etc.The wire is really fiddly to cut and separate, and i wish they were a push terminal that a simple screw fit but you get what you pay for i suppose. There transformer is an 8v transformer - however if you wish you can leave this out and simply follow instructions to use a 9V square battery instead, which may be better suited for most homes if not able to connect a power line to a transformer etc.I hop that the bell is OK for the weather as it doesn't look like it will be 'weatherproof, i hop it is.

Easy to fit, loud enough
Some reviewers have said this bell is a bit quiet but it's plenty loud enough for this house. Unit is smaller than the bell that it was replacing so needed a bit of touch-up on the wall that had been covered by the previous bell (had an unrealistic expectation that bells were a standard size).Previous bell had 4 C size batteries, this uses a much smaller 9v PP3 battery so time will tell if that doesn't last as well.

The sound is weird
Installed it all perfectly…it’s not a loud doorbell, sounds tinny almost too.

No fuss, good value, simple ding dong bell
It is fairly lightweight but sounds out strongly which is what you want. You simply add a 9 volt battery and attach two wires and a bell push and off you go. Separating the two halves to fit the battery was the hardest bit of fitting it. I would say it is cheap and cheerful and very good value for money.

Works well but cheap looking button.
Completely fed up with having to replace batteries in my doorbell, I finally decided to install this kit. Overall, it's a great kit that provides nearly everything needed for installation, even though the button itself looks a bit cheap (which can be upgraded later). You'll need a two-core cable and a plug to create a power lead to supply the transformer with power. I installed this under the stairs and then ran the wires out to the chime box and the bell. The installation ended up being tidy, and the bell itself is loud enough to be heard throughout the house.
