The most expensive nailclippers I've purchased
Never thought I would spend £12.80 on a pair of nailclippers! Slightly smaller than the supermarket/drug store brands. Feels sharp with handy plastic detachable nail catcher. Doesn't catch all the clippings though but defintely less of a flying mess. Recommend if you're willing to splurge on a good nailclipper.

Over-hyped.
Personally, I don't think these are any better than a standard pair of clippers, rather over-hyped. Better than a cheap pair from a discount store, but I have an old unnamed pair I must have purchased from a chemist that are every bit as good as the Seki's.The plastic nail catcher is worse than useless but is removable. It does mean that the clipper arm is then loose as there is nothing to hold it. And as the file is attached to the back of the plastic catcher, if you just use the clippers on their own, you have no file. There is also no little hook bit on the file to clean your nails with.I also noticed that although the Seki logo is on the front arm, when you take the clippers out of the plastic catcher, on the underside it reads (on my pair anyway) - 'Green Bell'. ?The Lifetime guarantee seems worthless as there is no address anywhere on the package (Well, there might be but you would need to be able to read Japanese).Save your money.

Quality shows!
These Seki Edge fingernail clippers look and feel nicely made and their quality marks them out from those supermarket "value" products you can get. The integrated nail file and clipping catcher is a bonus - both these features work well.In use the clippers cut very effectively and the edges are obviously very sharp indeed - they are ideal for preventing ingrowing nails as the cutters have just about the right amount of curvature in them. The information on the Seki Edge website says these Finger Nail Clippers have a slight overbite on the "teeth", so the edges never touch. This design ensures a clean cut and everlasting sharpness. Based on the generous (lifetime) warranty I imagine these clippers will remain sharp for years to come.in summary, a top notch product in terms of both form and function - the quality shows and is well worth paying for. Recommended.

Brilliant
Absolutely one of the best purchases I've ever made. I'm always fond of things that are just sublime at what they do. No fuss, no novelties, no frills - just impeccable and reliable at doing what it was designed to.I bought this five years ago and that fact alone astonishes me. It works just as well now as it did when I bought it, so I figured I should probably give it a review.Unlike cheap rubbish clippers there has been no need for multiple swipes at getting the job done. Its razor sharp cutting edge remains as effective as ever. What else can I say? It's a cracking product and around 50% cheaper than I paid for it all those years ago, so now's the time to grab one.

Cuts your nails like a dream
I don't usually dream about cutting nails, but if I do in the future, the Seki Edge will have a starring role. For the price of a pint of ale and a packet of crisps my life has improved by around 3%. Just the packaging tells you that you've chosen wisely - sturdy and classy, a sign of things to come. From the makers of Samurai swords, are these exquisiite clippers - surely a far more refined way of cutting your nails - which leaves a smooth and clean finish, ready for the day ahead. The clever white surround even catches the nails for you, so you can clip away whilst stirring the casserole or laying in bed with no fear of cuttings being later discovered.Truly a top class product, extremely highly recommended.

Works really well
A nice compact and well-made nail clipper which collects your clippings. The edge on them is extremely sharp and there is an nail file on the reverse ( which I don't really use but you should know that it is there anyway).I have survived for years on the Scholl nail clipper which has been my standard but these offer a good (though much more expensive) alternative. Mind you, a good pair of nail clippers, if never lost, will last you many many years. Mine only get lost because I share them with the family, including my teenage daughters!
