Expensive, quality, luxury feel and good moisturising, but single purpose and menthol for the 'it's working' trick
The short of it is that this is an expensive single purpose product, it's really not good for the face thanks to a healthy dose of menthol for the psychological trick 'it's working' tingle, yes it's a lovely dream that smooths and gives a softness and glow to the décolletage and there are some really really good ingredients on the right side of the phenoxyethanol 1% marker but I'm not convinced that it's a must have even if I had the disposable income to buy when ever I wished. After trying this out on my own admittedly youthful for my age neck and décolletage and realising it's not going to make any visible impact I passed this to my mum who recently as a big birthday and whilst she is youthful for her age and most people thought she was turning 50 not 60, she has signs of aging in this target area with a slight crepe texture appearing. She regularly extends her Loreal face cream to the neck. She has used this solidly over the last few weeks and after an initial ouchy dislike of the tingly feeling thinks this is a pretty good balmy cream, it has improved the quality of the skin in the target region, not erasing the texture but certainly improving it, everything is softer and smoother and feels plumped by the moisture, it's pleasant to apply and the fragrance doesn't clash with any other products. However it's a single purpose product, she tried it on her face by mistake out of habit and it was very stingy the first time so may irritate sensitive skins - this is because there is a healthy dose of menthol and menthyl lactate which are vasodilators and cause a flush of blood and tingling to the skin which makes that psychological feeling of 'it's working' whether it is or not.Asking mum right out would she buy it is a no thanks to the hefty price tag, and even if money was no object would she buy this she said maybe but if money was no object there are plenty of other luxury brands both cheaper and more expensive that would be a better investment so it's not a given even then.Personally if I had the need to preserve my neck I would rather a product that is multipurpose than that kind of money on just one area.

Good product
My skin definitely feels softer and looks better but this product is not a magic cure. I am planning to buy another jar as it is worth bearing in mind it takes a good month and more to produce results.

Works but too pricy to add to beauty regimes
This is way over my price range, and I've never used a cream specifically designed for bust and neck area. It's a real indulgence to add a decolette anti aging product to your beauty regime and at eighty quid you need to think carefully. The leaflet is a multi purpose for whole Elizabeth Arden range and in multi language and completely useless as it's ridiculously small print. My daughter managed to read instructions which were very basic and included ; To use massage into skin morning and night. It then went on to state use facial serum first so it's all very confusing. There is an assumption that the user knows what to do and how to get best results with out any guidance.Looking on the Elizabeth Arden website I found more help;Begin applying small amounts of PREVAGE® Anti-Aging Neck and Décolleté Firm & Repair Cream in areas specified in illustration.2 Using fingertips to lift neck, begin the massage in gentle, fast, repetitive upward movements, alternating hands, starting from left side of neck/décolleté moving towards the right.3 Slide hands beginning under the chin, upwards along the jaw line towards the ear (repeat 3x).The cream is not easily mixed up with others in your regime due to its distinctive orange colour, a good idea so you don't apply wrong cream to your face !I found it a nice thick consistency, easy to apply with a pleasant fruity smell. I saw immediate results and after a week I'm really impressed. Age of user 44 , so perfect target age group for treatment.Unfortunately, it's a once only splurge product but maybe an ideal gift, because it does work but many ladies would not be willing to spend this amount on theirselves.

Price Comparable With Similar Products And Appears To Work
This is only for the neck and décolleté area- don’t make the mistake my wife did and put it on your face or it will tingle like mad! It claims to stop signs of ageing below the chin and correct and protect the appearance of dry, delicate skin in neck and décolletage. It presents in a 50ml glass jar which appears quite yellow in colour. In fact the cream itself is quite yellow but once applied the colour vanishes into your skin. It has a very rich, creamy feel as you apply it and it does leave skin feeling very moisturised and supple. This feeling lasts. It is meant to be used night and morning.Like all skin care products, it is very hard to judge if the claims made by the manufacturer have any basis in fact. However, after a week of use, my wife felt that her neck felt smooth and nourished and has a definite healthy plump glow I am not sure it had before. My wife liked this product and will probably continue to use it. At £85 it is hardly cheap but probably comparable with creams from other leading brands such as Estee Lauder. It is a bit of a disadvantage you cannot use it on your face but provided you don’t mind using two products I guess it will mean your face cream lasts longer as you will no longer use it on your neck and décolletage.
