17280 ProFoil Lithium Shaver Replacement Titanium Foil Assembly and Inner Cutters, Gray

This is my first foil shaver, and I am impressed. Battery life: I’m happy with the battery life. I charged it up when I first received it and haven’t need to charge it again, yet. I’ve probably gotten 10 shaves (~3 minutes each) out of it so far. Shave quality: I am prone to razor burn and ingrown hairs. I haven’t found a combination of manual razors or shaving cream that prevents this. I’m happy to report that I don’t have any problems with razor burn or ingrown hairs with this shaver, and I provides a close shave. Size: This is a small lightweight and easy to maneuver shaver. I would’ve liked to have been able to use it in the shower or even rinse it under running water, but I knew I could when I bought it. No fault of the shaver. Just something to consider if that’s important to you.

This foil shaver is an absolute must at a great price from a reputable brand, Andis. They will not cut long hairs, they are meant to give you a silky smooth lathered feeling shave as long as the area you’re shaving is either precut or just starting to grow back. I use this to shave my head after using trimmers first. I also use this to clean up the face, fades, necks, back of necks, and under beards for clean look. These are better than using a razor blade by far!

I’m a licensed barber, and I must say that I’m extremely impressed and pleased with my purchase! It exceeds my expectations because it’s so lightweight. The motor has plenty of power. Unlike the major name brand competitors shavers I’ve been using. I don’t have to scrub and go over or concentrate in the same areas. The blades are sharp! Clearing areas in one single pass. Very ergonomically designed. I’ve used it for a week now on a single charge.

Works great on the fly

I am 45 years old & have been shaving my head since 1996. I use a straight razor and go with and the against the grain so even when pulling my skin back you feel no hair. I have tried so many different electric razors that I lost count. They ALL claimed to not leave stubble, rashly skin, small cuts, etc… after gaining a little weight over the years I’ve developed a few folds on the back of my neck and I have to be super careful now to not slice a chunk out when using the straight edge. I finally looked into an electrical razor again and after about 2 1/2 hours of searching I landed on this one. And I am SO GLAD I did. I tried it right out of the box and I was floored! Amazed! I couldn’t believe it! This think didn’t just work but it worked VERY well! I had gone about a 9 days since my last shave due to a cut from the straight edge and it didn’t matter. This thing allowed me to Shane my head (dry) in just a few minutes. And left no little spots that the razor couldn’t reach, IT…GOT…THEM…ALL. The only downfall is that it didn’t get it as smooth at it does when I use my straight edge against the grain but that’s just something I like to do, or maybe liked to do because after using this and how fast and easy it is I don’t think it will even matter anymore. I can go this faster than brushing my teeth so an everyday thing will be no problem at all. As a bonus it dud something else that was a very nice surprise. I was able to shave my face and neck (dry) as well. Every and I mean every single electric razor I’ve tried on my face and neck in the past has not only not worked but after just touching my skin felt like it was pulling each hair out one by one. And when I did suffer through it hoping it might get easier it just left a nasty rash that lasted for days. So I was amazed when this working on my face & neck too!! Not a nick, scratch or razor bump came out of it. FINALLY!!! You also get a nice little face cleaner brush, massager and trimming attachments. I’ve seen others for 4,4 even 5 times the price of this and almost bought one of those on that itself. How can something that costs so little act work so well, right? After the reviews on here and a few other places this is the one I had to try and I’m so glad I did. You will be too, I guarantee it. If you are a head shaver and/or have sensitive skin, stop looking and order this now. And NO, I am not someone paid to write this and I do not work or promote for the company. In fact in over 10 years I might have only left 4-5 reviews for anything I’ve bought on here and I buy all the time. This is just do good and I’m so happy that I finally found something that worked and worked better than I could have ever expected that I had to leave this super long review. That part I didn’t mean but I just can’t stop. I guess I will now though as I’m sure you get my point.

I have been shaving about 60 years, and using electric shavers half of that time. The Andis TS-1 17235 is the best shaver I have used. I have never used a top-of-the-line shaver, the ones that cost over $200 now, so I cannot compare this Andis shaver to those. Twenty years ago I spent around $100 on shavers, and this is better. More recently, since retiring, I have considered models costing less than $50 to be adequate for my needs. But spending just a few dollars more for this shaver was well worth it. I think the shave is comparable to what I would get from a blade. I charge it once a week. Battery life is more than adequate. It fits comfortably in my hand. It is reasonably quiet and the hum it produces while in use is not unpleasant. Bear in mind that this shaver is not to be used wet. Even when cleaning it, liquids and oils are to be avoided. Also, unlike most electric shavers, it does not have a pop-up trimmer, so a separate trimmer is needed. The trimmer on my old Remington still works for me, even though it is no longer usable for shaving. The only negative comment I have to offer is that the cover is odd and takes some getting used to. I don't think it provides a very secure fit. If I were traveling with this shaver, I would want to take extra steps to protect the foils.

Best $ ever spent !!! So easy to put on new replacements and it makes the closest to skin shave I have had in a long time. Totally would recommend to anyone looking for a legit replacement and nice quality haircut

I do not recommend shaving your face or neck with this as I think it will give most men razor burn, even with pre shave lotion it’s rough on the skin and will be uncomfortable. However this is probably the closest electric shaver that exists. I picked one up because my barber uses one on the back of my neck but I actually use it on my ears and it works really well to get a quick and close removal of hair. Good battery life and form factor. You can tell the thing is made for use by barbers day in day out.

O produto veio sem problema, porém quero deixar aqui minha reclamação e indignação com o entregador. Sei que é terceirizado, mas imagino que tenham o cadastro dele; ele jogou a caixa por cima do portão ( que tem uma tela) com o risco de avariar a peça ou mesmo machucar os animais da casa. Recomendo que verifiquem quem fez essa entrega e o oriente a trabalhar direito ou que não faça mais entregas.
