So sweet. There were directions on the bottle or in the insert as how to make the old-fashioned so I did one to one and that was way too much. The mix is more like bitters a drink with muddled fruit and one sugar cube. On my next try, I will use it as bitters and use more blood orange club soda. Mixing it with alcohol free whiskey from ritual.

First off, one can definitely make tasty cocktails with this mix, although the amount of mix to add in for your personal taste may take some trial and error to discover. As directed, it makes the drink too sweet for my preference, but it's a good starting point. In Wisconsin, we tend to make/drink brandy old fashioned instead of whiskey old fashioned, which puts a different spin on tastes to begin with. In any case, this is a tasty mix worthy of experimentation and trial and error, perhaps over a game of cards with friends. Wouldn't recommend giving it as a gift until you have found a ratio that pleases you, so that you can coach your gift-receiver how to put it to use (or maybe until you make one that they like!) ... Overall, I'm glad to have had an opportunity to try this product and I can recommend it for others to try and experiment with.

My fiancé used this mixer as Old Fashions are his choice of drink. When mixed at the suggested ratio, he found it to be too sweet. Other than sweet, it was spicy (cinnamon/bitters) and had no chemical or otherwise unpleasant aftertaste. He prefers his drinks to be more spirit-forward, so probably would go with a 4:1 mix instead of 3:1. He thought this mixer is fine for people who don’t really like making their own Old Fashioneds. For example, it’d be fine to have on hand for a party, but not something he would keep on hand regularly as he already has the individual components to make this drink and they keep for a long time on the bar with no refrigeration needed.

This BabLouie drink mixer is a nice refreshing way to have a cold cocktail. It mixes with whiskey, bourbon, rye or rum. I like that it has 100% natural ingredients, no artificial additives and no caffeine as well. It is enough to make 10 drinks. The bottle I received shows a manufactured date of March 14, 2023 and says that it is best if used within 6 months of this date. It is a very easy and convenient way to mix a quick cocktail. I found it to be aromatic when mixed and pleasant tasting. I would buy this again. It would make a nice item to bring to a get-together.

This Bablouie Old Fashioned Craft Cocktail Mixer is handy to have on hand to quickly whip up an upscale quality drink. This is a very sweet mix though, so I toned it down a little on subsequent drinks. There is also the stronger bitters/cinnamon taste. Overall, there is a lot of flavor going on. I don't know that I would exactly call it an "old fashioned", but it does make for a decent tasting drink regardless. It is easy to use. Once you get the correct ratio right for your tastes, it is enjoyable.
