Good value memory
Bought one 4GB stick a few weeks ago for a new build, I can't compare it speedwise to any other ram but it seems to be good and its definately fast. I have just purchased a second stick now so I will be able to do dual channel..**update**Second stick arrived, not in the official "Apotop" packaging as before. It arrived in a generic plastic pack not even sealed so obviously it was taken out of the official packaging at some stage. I plugged it in anyway and it wouldn't show up. Removed my other good stick and the computer wouldn't boot with this "new" RAM.I took it back out of my PC and compared it to the memory I bought a few weeks before and the circuit board was totally different. The good ram had circuitry on both sides of the board while this non-functioning ram had circuitry only on one side.. What the hell like? not even a sticker with timings or Mhz on it!Sent it back to Xstra 3 weeks ago for a replacement and they claim they never received it. I should have used registered post I suppose.**update 2**Filed a claim and was refunded in full very promptly. Fair play to Xstra and Amazon for sorting it quickly.The first memory I purchased is still working great though and is one of the best prices around..
