This supplement is a probiotic with a citrus flavobiotic that should help good bacteria thrive in our gut.This supplement comes as a light brown powder in an average sized cellulose capsule that is relatively easy to swallow (if you are used to pills, but otherwise may be considered a little large). The capsules are in a white plastic bottle with a plastic screw on cap that should keep them fresh and protected from light. There are 60 capsules in a bottle and with a serving size of two, it gives a 30 day supply. There are three types of bacteria in the SNZ TriBac blend and it provides 6 billion CFU (colony forming units) per serving. The citrus flavobiotic (MicrobiomeX) is formulated to help support a healthy microbiome composition and best survive the stomach acid to reach the intestines. Outside of the Amazon product page title indicating the product is made in the USA, I cannot find anything, to include the manufacturer’s website, about the product (like GMP certified facility, non-GMO, vegan, no nuts, third-party tested, etc.). The bottle does contain both an expiration date and lot number, so I assume that the lot/batch can be tracked in the event more information is needed or there is an issue.Compared to other probiotics, this blend seems to be less active than some others. Some probiotics cause a grumbly tummy, others make you gassy, and some make you gassy and stinky. This one, however, doesn’t really seem to have a noticeable impact to gut (over) activity and could be that it is well formulated and balanced, or that it is a bit under performing (sometimes it can be hard to tell, especially if your gut isn’t in need of a positive change in microbiome). I do notice some additional activity in my gut, but it is relatively minor and certainly not disturbing, so I would count this as a good thing and say that this supplement is well balanced as is doing what I would expect it to. Many probiotics these days seem to be rather expensive, and this one is no outlier, but it is certainly not even close to the more expensive brands/blends. Overall, I think this is a good probiotic that seems to be doing its job without disturbing your day.

I've been taking deluxe probiotics for about 5 years, mostly based on findings that describe how important the gut biome is to our overall health. What I generally look for is high diversity of bacteria (30-40) and also high organism count (50-100 billion). I feel a bit better in a few different ways, and obviously digestion is one of them.Body Kitchen's Gut Balance is not quite what I usually buy, given only 3 types of flora and only a 6 billion count. But in the ways I can observe, this does as good a job as the others that I thought had a clear advantage. Why? Is it the particular species or the potency of them? Is it the unique citrus pre-biotics in the formula?

I have been taking probiotics for a long time now. Initially I ate yogurts and other probiotic rich foods. As I grew older and the healthy bacteria in my gut started to deteriorate, happens to us all, I needed a boost. The capsules are vegetarian, no taste and easy to swallow. Nothing but beneficial bacteria working to heal your body. I have been told that all good health starts with the gut and we tend to abuse that part of our body the most with processed foods and corn syrups. Eliminate those foods and boost your immune system is the best way to go. At the very least, consult your doctor and take a probiotic daily. Your gut will love you for it.

I have been taking this for almost a week now and while it is easy to take I haven't noticed any improvements based on it's claims.
