Owner American Jig Hook with Super Needle Point

These are very sharp hooks with a black chrome finish. When compared to the Gamakatzu hook, the Gamie feels thicker in diameter and thus stiffer hook. Note that the Owner hook in 2/0 was plenty strong. How strong should a hook be? I don't know, do you???

Don't buy these. They are so sharp and awesome that you may end up poking yourself before a fish. Seriously, these are great hooks for a more finesse jig when a lighter hook is warranted. Simply the best hook for making football jigs for Smallmouth

This will be a great jig hook. This hook is not meant for fish such as Tarpon. Get the heavy duty/saltwater owner jig hooks for that. This is more of a light tackle jig hook.

Extremely sharp hooks. However, they are brittle and the metal will often break rather than bend when trying to pull free from snags.
