These deck boxes are great! They'll hold a double sleeved commander deck perfectly. Comes out nice and crisp no air pockets.

Overall, these deck boxes are some of the nicest I’ve had the pleasure to own. They feel much better than any Ultra Pro crap that is mass marketed, and feel like they will be lasting a long time. The storage space on these deck boxes is just a couple hairs shy for me though. It does fit 100 double sleeved cards, but not well. I use dragon shield outer and inner sleeves for one of my more costly decks, and I have to be a little more forceful than I care for to make it fit into the box. Since I play MTG - commander, often times I will load in the 99 cards and lay my commander on top of the side loaded cards, just this small difference made the deck fit much more nicely, but still a little tight for my liking. Overall, I think the deck box is still sturdy enough to use every day, but may not be ideal for any double sleeve decks.

Ultra Pro has been in the market for the longest time, so there’s no surprise about the quality of their products.The color of this box is vibrant and provides great protection to the cards. In the photos I show how a single-sleeved 60-card deck fits.The Ultra Pro logo is not as noticeable as in other products. This is great for people who want a cleaner look.The cover doesn’t fully close unless you press it down – photo for reference. Not sure if this is intended or a production error. Some users could benefit from this, they may want to keep the box semi open for easy access without fully unfolding the cover.The magnets are strong, once the box is closed it won’t open unless you really try to.I knocked 1 star because it is impossible to fit standard-sized cards with outer sleeves. The box is just big enough to fit standard sized sleeves.

The Vivid Alcove Edge is a well thought out and designed deck box and the quality is clear.Visually, the teal color is stunning and photos do not accurately capture the color. The leatherette is unblemished and has a fine leather texture and the stitching is straight.Ultra Pro advertises that it fits 100 double sleeved standard size cards and it does. It fits my 100 card Magic decks double sleeved in KMC Perfect Fits and Dragon Shield Mattes and my decks sleeved in Dragon Shield Sealables and Dragon Shield Mattes. Neither decks were heavily foiled (5-7 foils per deck) and the fit was already tight, so if your deck is foiled out, this will probably not work.The magnet closure is extremely secure. I loaded the deck box up, shook it, and whipped it like I was going to spike a football. The flap did not budge a millimeter.A nice feature is that the height of the deck box roughly the same height as a 100 card double-sleeved deck, so you can use it to support your library while playing and use the deck box as your graveyard.The only thing I can possibly knock the Vivid for is the price. While Ultra Pro Satin Towers/Cubes are hard plastic deck boxes, they're generally found for 75% of the price of the Vivid. Unfortunately, I don't have any other soft deck boxes to compare it to, but the price seems comparable to similar style deck boxes from name brands.Ultimately, the Ultra Pro Vivid Alcove Edge does what it advertises: it holds 100 double-sleeved cards securely, and it does so in a beautiful, quality, and well-designed package.

The Ultra Pro Vivid Alcove Edge Deck Box is hands down my favorite deck box to date. It is a great size, feels great, and is secure enough to keep your cards safe and sound during storage or transport.This box is large enough to fit a double-sleeved commander deck (100 cards) with some room to spare. I was concerned at first but quickly realized this allows me to store token cards and alternate deck cards (just in case I want to switch it up a little!) I ordered mine in purple, and the leather feels smooth and supple to the touch. It is a side-loading deck, and both sides have a cutout that allows you to pull your cards in and out smoothly and effortlessly.The box closes with a panel that wraps around the box, attaching to itself with a moderately powerful magnet. The box did snap open when I dropped it on the floor though, allowing me a chance to play a round of 100 card pick-up. There was no harm to either the cards or the box. As long as you don’t use your deck box to play catch with, you should be fine. It is also easy to open, which is a great change from some of Ultra Pros' other products.I am in love with this deck box, it is everything I was hoping it would be.

I have used my fair share of card boxes and this one stands out because the cards go in horizontal instead of vertical. I also really like the finger cut outs that help in removing cards. This is Ultra-Pro, so their standard is pretty high. The leather is smooth, and the magnets are strong. It is a little pricey, but for a leather card box and the features I mentioned above, it is a nice card box.

This deck box for a trading card game deck works well and looks very nice. I personally play Magic the Gathering, but I would assume a Pokemon deck or any similar style game deck would work equally well in this deck box. Firstly, I love the texture of the outside, and the color is my favorite. The magnetic flip top stays sealed during transit and in my backpack, the felt lining on the inside of the box ensures a comfortable fit for my cards, and it's big enough for a full double-sleeved 75 card deck with some extra room if I wanted to keep a few extra cards in there before it starts to get a bit snug.
