Great value, very good quality
Yes, it's small, but this is a terrific little globe that won't take up a lot of space and has bright colors and clear printing. It's pitched as being for kids, but we Americans are notoriously bad at geography and could use a globe. Flat maps are practical, but you don't get as clear a sense of how far apart, for example, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, is from Perth, Australia. My greatest concern before buying it was that seams wouldn't match up. That's often the case with globes bought for decoration only. With this, the Northern and Southern hemispheres are a tiny bit off, but that could only be true of a few of them, and it doesn't matter; no one would use this to navigate in a serious way. I'm keeping it in my kitchen and while it's not near my stove, things in kitchens pick up a little grime anyway. I found that I was able to wipe it clean with a microfiber cloth without damaging the glossy finish. I wouldn't advise using liquid on it, but I bet mildly soapy water wouldn't hurt the world. As I write this, America's President Trump is planning to acquire Greenland, by force if necessary. There's (believable) talk that part of his rationale is that he thinks Greenland is as huge as it's incorrectly portrayed on flat maps. (The math of converting a sphere to a plane is daunting, to say the least.)

A little small but usable
A little small, but somewhat usable. I would recommend if people are considering this to go up to at least a 9" globe. I have both sizes and the 9" globe is perfect.

Great buy!
Great bang for your buck. The globe is be enough to see details but not big enough it clutter up your desk. The stand is plastic and screws on from the bottom so pretty straight forward putting it together. My elementary ages kids enjoyed playing with it.

It’s too tiny for a person with bad eyesight.
Too small. I will buy a larger one soon.
