This IFOOTAGE Cobra RB-A400 monopod absolutely deserves a 5 star review. As a content creator and hobbyist DJ, I’ve cycled through my fair share of stands—for speakers, lights, cameras, trusses—you name it. This one is hands-down amazing.. First off, the packaging blew me away. It was extremely well thought-out and protective. You can tell this brand takes pride not only in their products but in the customer experience. It arrived in perfect condition, and honestly, with packaging this secure, I doubt shipping damage is ever an issue. Now the build quality—wow. This monopod is solid, sturdy, and clearly made to last. The aluminum construction feels premium, and the base is both compact and stable, perfect for my small bedroom content studio where a traditional tripod just didn’t cut it. At 6'3", I struggle with standard tripod heights and awkward leg leveling. You know the drill—adjust one leg, then the second, then the third, step back, only to realize it’s leaning slightly because one leg is a few millimeters off. So you do the whole dance again. Not with this. This monopod extends to nearly 80 inches, giving me perfect eye-level shots without all that tripod leg gymnastics. Height adjustment is smooth, intuitive, and fast—twist, raise, lock. That’s it. And it’s not just tall—it’s strong. I’m currently using it to hold a mirrorless camera, a robust teleprompter, and an iPad… and it doesn’t wobble at all. Whether you’re short on space or just want a cleaner, sleeker, and more practical solution than a bulky tripod, this is 100% worth it. I’m already considering getting a second one. Please note this may not be a good option for outdoor uses where you need a traditional tripod - this is perfect for indoor use.

Of all the video monopods I've used, this one is the best. It's very well made and well-finished. It's also well-designed and sturdy. I bought it on sale, so the price was great. I loaded it with about 7kg of video gear, and while there was some shaking, it was fine with careful use. The head is a Manfrotto 502.
