Doesn't really spoil the way the pieces look, but you can feel it when you play.Overall, for the price this is a good value set - if you want the equivalent thing in wood you're going to pay something like five to ten times more. I trimmed the moulding seams off with a sharp knife, to my satisfaction: it didn't take long.

Pros:- Weighted set.- Excellent size.- Good quality mat.- Extra queens++- Price was a bargain (£24)!Cons:- One of the pieces was broken just a little (the rook).- The interior of the bag started tear out after few months.
