Update: Surpised - it helped! I apply after shower vs a warm towel.
UPDATE: I've used one entire jar, and have to change my review. 5 stars despite the price. I can't say if the spider veins have changed but the large knot of varicose veins on my one calf has decreased in size & color by at least 90-95%! It has almost disappeared. And I know longer even am aware of it - no pain at all. I'll narrow down the use of the cream to this one area, to make it last longer, and use as needed elsewhere on my legs. Am I still is awe? Yes. No longer looking into having something done at the doctor's office that, from what I've been told, is not a pleasant experience. I'll point out that I am not wrapping my leg in a warm towel prior to use. I'm applying it after showering -figured that's the same as a warm towel, and the cream helps lock in some extra moisture. Either way, looks like it's on my reorder listI have a few varicose veins, and figure it's never too early to try to do something about them. The web page states it can be used for "senile purpura" which is the easy bruising older people often have. I have pigmented purpura and wonder how it will work on that auto-immune problem. Per the instructions: you are to warm your legs with a warm towel prior to use. This isn't noted on the web page but on the box. So be sure to read the instruction on the box prior to use. This cream has a unique scent but not offensive. I think it's the rosemary that I'm picking up. The instructions say to wrap your leg(s) in a warm towel prior to apply. I've been applying this after my shower, since I figure it is the same as a warm towel and makes it much easier and quicker. If I would have to use the towel, I probably won't bother to use the cream. It absorbs quickly, and I haven't noticed any sticky feeling after application. The smell is gone by the time I get to bed, and I don't have to go on a "soak cycle" to let it absorb. I can't tell whether or not is it making any change in the varicose veins but the skin on my legs looks great. I've only used it for about 2 weeks, so longer may make a difference. I will be saving at least 1 full jar to try when my skin problem flares as the weather gets colder. But as a moisturizer, it is great. The downside is the cost: currently, the 3 small jars are about $32. Probably something I won't order again, simply due to the price. So: minus a star - expensive & minus a star- should make it clear on the page how it needs to be applied. I wonder how many others ordered this and read the instructions with the reaction of WHAT! when the warm towel part was reached.

Works good
I got this for a relative who absolutely swears by it. They said it is one of the best products they have ever used.

Better as a moisturizer, no effect so far on varicose
I am noticing a lot more spider veins on my thighs and back of my legs so I thought I should try something that might help. I saw this one and I was attracted to the “Fast relief” claim in the description. It was a little pricey to try but then I want to control the spider veins' occurrence early so that it would give me a shorter time to solve. Per the instructions it says wrap with a warm towel. I say NO. That is too much work for me and to be still and be in one place is quite a little impossible for me. So I went for the other option of applying after a warm shower (I always do a hot shower so I think that is even better). I have been applying it for about 3 weeks now but I don’t see any change. I took a picture of the before and after but I can’t see any difference. I am finished with the first jar and onto the second one but I don’t see progress. What is good is that it seems to work as a good moisturizer. So I will use it for such and at the same time still see how the main purpose for using it will do.I say for 3 jars, I find it expensive especially if I am only using it to moisturize. I can find other moisturizers that will be cheaper and more economical. For some this may be a waste of money but for some it may be affordable. It all depends on how you look at it or what your take is on it and how effective it is for a user.

This Product Needs Two People To Use It Correctly
The AUQUEST Varicose Vein Relief Cream comes in a set of three red plastic jars, each 2.82 ounces. The cream is white and there is a very little scent in the cream. The directions on the jar and the the box it came in. I had problems with the indirection1. Use a hot towel to warm your legs: How long should you keep the hot towel on? & What positions should you be in while doing the towel warming.2. Take a proper amount of this cream and apply it to discomfortable area.: How much is proper? & Do you do this one by one area or can you do several at one time. Do you do it daily or how many times?3. Massage legs and feet from the the bottom in upwards movement until absorbed.: Should you sit up or stand up or lay down to massage. & This product needs at least two people to use it properly. The person with the discomfortable area is not going to able to use the cream properly.Luckily my husband is able to help following the directions and applying them as I sit, stand, or laydown once the cream has been applied. There are many older people who live alone that could use this product but do not have someone to help them. I think this product should be for a spa rather than an individual.
