Total package needed (besides ingredients) in homebrewing/distilling!!
The perfect size for my homebrewing needs (8gallon/~32 liters) and comes as a complete kit so check out the list of included supplies(including a water pump). Everything arrived in good shape and packaging with no damaged parts noted. I have not used it but have assembled all parts to get a working idea of how to use and I find that there are no problems and everything fits well and the lid or dome top is quite nice construction. Great companion book that all the recipes match up with a 8 gallon pot is "The Joy of Home Distilling: The Ultimate Guide to Making Your Own Vodka, Whiskey, Rum, Brandy, Moonshine, and More (Joy of Series) by Rick Morris "

Simple and reliable
Excellent beginners still. Good for small runs. Easily can hit 130 proof.

Minor design flaw but overall a great purchase.
For what it is, it works great! I just have one problem and that's the design of the water reservoir for the condenser - you cannot use an industrial chiller to keep it cool unless you add an inline pump to the reservoir, or close the water system. At the very top of the unit, the condenser circles over the top of the rim of the water reservoir; this tube should be welded to the side instead of curled over the top so you can have a lid with a silicone ring that clamps down to close the water cooling system - this would allow you to attach an industrial chiller so you don't have to keep adding ice to a bucket. Good value, good build quality, thickness of the steel is great and works wonderfully on an induction cooktop.

The BEST way to start distilling
Used to distill water For the price, I love it! Hydrometer was broke (I’ve got better ones anyway) and thermometer is upside down when installed, I can still read it tho. Not too sure how long the gasket will last. Also can’t find much info on how the vent works to let out impurities, I’ve always just used the the head as a fun fire started…. Still going to get rid of the first bit just in case. No leaks, no overflow of water in condenser, mostly easy to clean. Welds and metal work look pretty good, again, for the price. Love the shape of the lid, the clamp connection to the condenser, false bottom Overall, I’m very happy with what I got from China

Poor design with very poor communication in regard to the failed design.
Poor design. The condensation tubing is within a device that sits directly on the kettle. Very hot below. Very cool above. As the vapor rises from the still, it enters a chamber. This chamber is sealed from the outside, but open on the inside. Meaning, the vapor tube exiting the still ends inside this chamber. On the other "side" is an opening for the vapors to enter and travel up towards the condensation tubing. This chamber houses the end of the kettle vapor tube and the beginning of the condensation tubing. Two separate pieces of tubing. Both are different diameters. So, as the vapor enters this chamber, it rises (as vapor does). The bottom of the condensation-holding device is higher than the exiting vapor tube. Therefore, the vapor hits the bottom of the condensation-holding device and instantly cools into a liquid. Well, the liquid can't travel up into the condensation line, so it builds up enough volume to drip back into the kettle. I have sent several emails to VEVOR. Each one with a response that they are letting someone know of my issue. Not once has anyone made contact with me with a resolution. Of course, my 30 day warranty is up.

Good construction and materials with best designed cooling tower.
Best construction and easy to use and keep clean. Great cooling coil design is far superior to most other value priced water distillers. Why did you pick this product vs others?: Good construction and superior design.

This is a high quality product I'm very pleased
The product arrived earlier than expected. I expected a fair product for the price, and was very pleased to find a excellent distillation unit, the stainless is thicker than I expected and it is well made. 😎

Home distiller
Works great. I recommend figuring out a way to run continuous cold water thru it rather than using the stock pump. The recirculation water quickly becomes hot and diminishes output.

Devo dire che: si tratta di un buon prodotto! Funziona benissimo con gli oli essenziali. Buona esecuzione, particolari curati, saldature all'altezza.

Grazie
