Wing Chun Dummy with Recoil Reaction Stand

I bought one of these in 2020 and use it a ton. Great quality, exactly what I hoped for when I ordered it.The owner of the place is very professional, friendly and responsive. He made sure to contact me to ensure my order was correct and discuss if I wanted any customizations - he also made sure that he was sizing it properly to my height and desired angles.The recoil stand is great and you can 'disable' it if you want to train on a static position dummy for any reason.Three years later in 2023 I sent an email asking about a replacement for the rubber band for the recoil stand and he responded within minutes to help me. Highly recommend!

I like the quality and all. He asked a lot of question but the height and arms are not exactly right for my size. I have two of them one made by a friend. That’s the one I use for comparison.

Fantastic costumer service. I was given a heads up that it would take more time & kept up to date while it was built. The quality is worth the wait. I sent an e-mail with my desired characters for engraving & the result is perfection. The recoil stand is great for presenting a different challenge. The assembled dummy with stand fits in smaller space than anticipated.

I purchased my Wing Chun Dummy with Recoil Reaction Stand over 3 years ago. I will admit that I was concerned about buying such an expensive piece of equipment. I contacted James directly to understand what I was getting, and talked through what I wanted. He was willing to customize everything, and his responsiveness was spot on. I received the Dummy and the reaction plate was broken. I contacted James and had a new one the next day. I have used the dummy regularly for the past few years, and have noticed minimal wear and tear, but no splitting or breakage in all this time. I would highly recommend this product to anyone that wants a serious training dummy that also looks like a well made piece of furniture.

Wonderful quality of wood and did some extra modifications to it by adding in a shorter tarp rubber band at the base at 21" long and took the old rubber piece off. Then put on 2/ 18.8 pound springs to add in some extra resistance and works like a charm. Very pleased. :)
