I needed to get some old rust stains out of a green carpet that were left by the ladder of a metal bunkbed that had been in place for at least 6 years. The ladder had caused the carpet to be deeply dented and the rust very ingrained. I have tried a few products to get rid of the stains but nothing worked. This stain remover has removed 95% of the marks after only two light applications. I sprayed the liquid on the stain, left for 5 minutes and scrubbed with a stiff nail brush, this removed most of the mark and a second application a bit more. I think if the carpet had not been so dented it would have all come out and it looks a lot better than it did before using. Easy to use bottle. Good amount of product, the 500ml sized bottle should last a very long time for spot cleaning. I have since used this to clean other marks on my carpets and it has got them completely out. I have not had any problems with it damaging the fabrics or colour, but I used as per the instructions on the bottle and did a spot test first. I am very impressed with this product and would recommend. Price at time of purchase was more than reasonable.

Best stain remover iv ever brought , drink was spilt on my cream rug and this stuff managed to get it all out you can’t even tell. Would definitely buy again

I ordered thus as I’d had a mishap in my bedroom - my blind dog tripped me up as I walked into the room and my cup of hot chocolate flew out of my hand. It splashed so far that the majority went on wardrobe mirrors, even the ceiling. There was a wet latch on the carpet right in front of the wardrobe. It washed easily off ceiling wall and mirrors, but the stain on the carpet refuses to budge. I’ve only cleaned it once so far - but it looks as if I’ve done nothing.. I’ll give it another go, but the product hasn’t lived up to, its promise so far. NB. Since I wrote the above m I’ve tried three more times and the stain did not come out. Bought a Dr Beckmann and it’s gone! Enough saud,

I take a blood thinning drug, so any little scratch or cut tends to leave drops of blood around. I'd almost given up on trying to remove the blood stains from our bedding when my daughter suggested a stain remover like HG. I sprayed the old and new blood spots with HG, waited a few minutes and then washed the bedding on my usual Easy Care program. To my amazement the linen is now spotless!! I'm cross now to think of the items I threw away because I couldn't get the stains out with any of the previous products I tried!!

After trying several different products and methods to remove stains from my sofa with no luck, I tried this product as a last resort. So glad I did as it completely removed the dried in stains with no residue/water marks left behind. Easy to use and has no lingering smell after. Good size bottle which should last a while. Does not add any protection but itvreally works well.

Got the product to maintain the winter jackets (including puffers) - worked perfectly. Have to say that it’s been my go to anytime I need to get rid of any stains in n my rugs, sofas and curtains.
