Works quite well on a round bale of hay. Easy to use. Blade is sharp and hook on reverse side does well in removing netting on bale of hay. Worth the money and make life on the ranch easier.

Pleasantly surprised! This worked well on string tied bales, imagine it works fantastic on net wrap. Probably buy another one to keep on another tractor.

Quality built seems to be built. Durable definitely helps prevent us from cutting our hands not a bad price.

I used this hat knife last season on and off. The length of handle is a little long, as juxtaposed with the angle of the blade. If the handle was a few inches shorter it would be less awkward to cut bales with. I feel a bit like I’m using an ax and often have to use two hands to control it while cutting. To be fair, I am a 5’2” woman and perhaps it would be better for someone with more height and longer arms.

3rd hay knife purchased. Works so much better on round bales than a regular knife.

I ordered this product and it came missing the screw to hold the pieces together and it was also missing the 20 blades it is supposed to come with. Returned the product and ordered again hoping it was a fluke, just to have the same thing happen again! Will not be repurchasing this.
