I would not have purchased these at the price plus a big shipping hit. But the wife wanted them so I placed the order. Shipping took longer than it should have for the price. The Licorice do not come in the pictured box but on two hangers that are packed in a shipping box. Ok, that is the end of the high price and shipping snivel now to the review.I have never in my life has such fresh licorice. Every one in my family has commented on how fresh this licorice is. None of the stale jaw breaking rope like usually come through the mail. If you like red ropes then these are worth the purchase, you will be in licorice heaven.

This licorice purchase was an excellant choice, it was all that I had hoped for and more. Each rope was individually wrapped whick keeps it fresh and easy to give to others - like grandkids - for a little treat.

The quantity, quality and delivery were as promised.

I used to love licorice ropes as a child but they had disappeared off of the store shelves. I couldn't find them anywhere. Low and behold Amazon came through. Thanks.
