Exactly what I wanted.
I love that the numbers go up so I can tell each year which hens are the newest and I can remember who is who with the different colors on their legs. Fits well. We placed them at 6 weeks and they are full grown now and not too tight and don't fall off. Easy to put on.

Works Well for Big Birds
These seem to fit the larger ducks, the geese and turkeys well.

For large birds
Got this for my mixed flock of ducks, geese and turkeys. Fits adult turkeys well, but falls off the ducks. Haven’t tried on geese yet. Will buy a smaller size for the ducks from this company because *huge plus* there are no RED bands, which is bad for poultry.Putting them on is a two person job usually, but you can either slide the band together or snap it in place. They come with numbers but I also wrote names on in Sharpie. So far so good, no rubbing off.

Consider these temporary
These work well on a short term basis. It hasn't even been a full summer and these bands keep falling off.

I like the different colors.
I like the range of colors. If you hatch your own chickens these are a must.

Some of them have no numbers
The first thing I did was sort the new bands by color, snap them closed and tie them to strings in numerical order. It started off fine and the lighter colored bands are easy to read so they went quickly. Then I got to the purple ones. I had to hold them under a strong light to even see the numbers, and to make it even worse 5 of them are blank! I have 1 through 5 and 11 through 20. Not very helpful for keeping breeding records!I don’t think they’re worth returning and I’m pretty sure I can number the blank ones with a soldering tip rather than toss out the whole series, but I don’t think I should have to do this.Aside from the missing numbers the bands seem to be of good quality for this type of band, but I will choose a different seller if I buy more of them.
