D1S HID to D1S LED swap.
I’m soo satisfied with this d1s LED, it’s 3 times brighter compared to the OEM d1s on my Cadillac CTS, I wish it’s could be whiter than 6000K.

Direct D1S Replacement HID
These headlight bulbs are a direct fit to the original HID bulbs. There are jumper switches that can be configured depending on the car's canbus to prevent flickering or lamp out message on dash. These LEDs are bright and substantially whiter in color temperature compared to the Xenons.

Still unsure if I should use it
Despite quite a few other good reviews about these LED's, I'm still on the leery side of the fence about using these because these are supposed to go onto my '15 BMW X5. I'm saying it because I've owned more than 7 different BMW cars within the last 10 years and "all" of them pretty much have problems with aftermarket bulb conversions. On one of those occasions I had it on an E90 with an original Paleo halogen lamp and I went through 8 different brands of HID conversion kits, paired with a totally different headlamp which has built-in HID Xenon projectors. Long story short, the car's electronics will always recognize those conversion kits being foreign and eventually the computer will "permanently" disable your headlight. Now if you got to this point, you'd understand my pain because of how bad it is to drive in the night with only one headlamp working. To get the FRM computer to reset and give me two lamps, you have to either go to the dealership and pay for them to reset the module, or you can spend the bigger bucks and lots of trial-and-error to learn how to use INPA, TOOL32 to reset a counter that counts the frequency of this error code. The rabbit hole does get pretty deep to right the wrong in this aspect. This brings me to this review: I still refuse to install this set because I'm still trying to get the seller to publicly respond on the Q&A section to tell us exactly which dip-switch settings to set prior to me installing these bulbs. The issue here is that the X5 is our keeper, and I absolutely do not want to mess with the sensitive BMW circuitry again and go after another rabbit chase because it'll likely lead me down another rabbit hole. For this reason, and being unable to actually test the bulbs out on my own, I'll assume these bulbs will work, but until I get a definitive answer on the dip-switch settings, I will not be able to render a true review for it. For now, I'll be lenient enough to keep this review at 3-stars until proven otherwise. Will come back to comment on brightness and durability once I have the pre-set answers I need to make this work.
