Seem to be fine
Apparently you are supposed to carry these in your car in France, so we bought these for a camping holiday. Didn't have to use them but they were a reasonably priced way to comply with regulation!

French NF Approved Breathalyzer Twin pack
Does what it says in the description.I'm assuming that, like many others, we are hoping that we will not ever have the need to use the items and therefore I cannot comment on their accuracy! They do have "use by dates" so make sure that you keep a diary note to replace when required.At the time of writing these items are still not a definitive legal requirement to carry in your car in France, but their law is under review, so better safe than sorry.

Great product - and packaging
Just the job - drunk 6 stellas and half a bottle of Mirth of Merry Scotch whisky and couldn't open the packaging - this told it I was too drunk to do anything - including ride a bicycle. Great product - and packaging!

Be careful about remaining validity period
Product says it is NF (French authorities) approved which is what I wanted. I ordered these to replace the ones I had which had gone past the expiry date. The new ones are valid until September 2017 but were valid from June 2013. In other words I have lost 32 months of validity and only have 19 months left, so not good value at all. Also the picture shows the product as coming in a box but they came, wrapped individually in a plastic bag.

Simple and easy. Great piece of mind when travel to France by car. Got stopped once and had to take a test. I think the policemen just wanted to check I had the test kit with me.

Required for France (sort of)
Although a blurry area in France with the law we purchased to avoid and problems. Not used in the end but there for the next trip.

Bought them ready for a trip through France, not set off yet, so can't comment on them other than they are good value.

Expensive and short expiry date.
As with many other purchasers the product I received was only a few months away from it's expiry date so useless for a trip this summer. Also expensive considering there is only one breathalyser in the pack and one needs two to keep the French police happy. Unfortunately have to give it one star as no option for zero.

Fácil de usar
Lo compramos porque era obligatorio en Francia, pero no paramos en ningún control. Utilizamos uno para probar cómo iba y era fácil de usar.
