The skirt was a bit longer than in the picture but it was easy to take up. I just unpicked the lace, sewed it on where I wanted the new hemline to be and then cut off the excess. The straps also were too long but those were easy to alter too.I think the fact that it was a bit too long and the straps weren't quite right is good because then I could choose the length I wanted rather than feeling uncomfortable in a different costume.Material is a bit cheap but feels quite silky still.
