The description mentions "magnifier slot", and then it is never mentioned again. This is used for "cheater" lenses, required if you normally require reading glasses. I asked a question about the lens size, but the people answering obviously have no idea what the question was asking!I took a chance and bought a standard 2 x 4.25 inch lens and it fits great. Note that there is a hinge at the bottom of the screen unit that needs to be opened to allow the lens to be slotted in.

Wow! What an amazing, well built welders mask.New to welding I was after a mask that fits in my budget, once out the box I could see this was a quality item, came with batteries and a spare lense, it made welding a joy to do as vision was very good and not darkened like some older, cheaper masks I've tried and the instant tinting once welding has started done well to protect my eyes.If you're after a mask then look no further, with multiple design choice and great pricing, what more could you want?

Good price for an infrequent welder/hobbyist, adjustable shade and also grind mode something my previous welding mask didn't have.

Mask sits a little high so you look down when welding so the lining up to eyeliner is poor and this product would be good with an additional flip down visor for grinding instead of having to change the glass

As a first welding helmet it suits me just fine. Seems well made and the auto darkening function works really well. I tested it on some bright kitchen lights first and it dims instantly. As a beginner I am very pleased with it. Seems to be good value for money too.

Great value for money, easy to use. The plastic adjustable head strap is very flimsy though. The little plastic stud broke off after a couple of adjustments so I used some stick on velcro which works fine.
