Potassium tablets
I will give this item 5 stars, as it is just as described. However, just receiving these potassium tablets 2 days ago, I am not at liberty to say if they help or not.I always like to give supplements 30 days.

Important information to know before taking potassium
Before starting potassium supplements it’s important to find out what your eGFR is. In her book entitled, “Toxic Superfoods,“ Sally Norton PHD said the eGFR should be over 60 in order for the body to efficiently clear excess potassium. She said it’s safe to start at 800 mg of potassium each day (approximately 7 of the 99 mg capsules) if that is so— but you should always check with your doctor just to make sure because it can have serious repercussions in involving your heart if you take too much and your body can’t clear it.There are mEq to milligram calculators on the Internet and I typed in some numbers and here’s what they spit out:10 mEq = 391 mg15 mEq = 586 mg30 mEq = 1173 mg60 mEq = 2346 mgI was doing salt loading as part of an iodine protocol and I believe it unmasked a potassium deficiency in my case. I was starting to retain water (pitting edema?) and it felt like my digestive system came to a screeching halt like nothing was moving through it (ileus?) and I was getting constipated and I was having terrible insomnia. I started at a low-dose of potassium citrate and worked my way up to six capsules a day and I started seeing improvements in all these areas overtime as I went.Dr. Berg and Dr. Norton Booth said that you should try to ingest equal amounts of potassium and sodium and I’m thinking that I must have tipped the scales into the sodium direction too far by doing the salt loading. So now I make sure I take equal amounts of potassium and that seems to have helped out my situation immensely.
