This Madeleine tin is fantastic! The non-stick surface works perfectly, and the madeleines come out with a beautiful shape and golden finish every time. The size is ideal, and it’s easy to clean after use. I highly recommend this if you love baking madeleines or want to try your hand at making them at home. A must-have for any baker!

Within minutes of the Amazon chap handing over my tray I made my first ever madeleines and they turned out perfect in every way. I hummed and hahed about trying the silicone trays (I'm a 77 year old bloke) and decided to go traditional, though I do have some silicone bakeware. I'm glad I did because the results couldn't have been any better and the tray is easy to handle loaded, hot, & so easy to clean as it's totally non-stick. At 40cm wide it's is a close fit in my standard gas oven so make sure you know the dimensions of your own oven!

Pretty good pan, mid range price and the results are good. Butter the moulds before putting cold batter in and your away.

I bought this Madeleine tin to replace a cheap old one. My reasons for choosing it were that is has a well defined scallop shell shape, it is non stick, it has a capacity of 12 and from the photos it looks like good quality. It arrived last night and I made my first batch this morning. I can confirm that I am very happy with my choice. It is solidly made and the non stick works well. I just lightly buttered the tin, rather than adding flour which a lot of recipes suggest. The Madeleines were a good shape and size and came out of the tin easily. I used the following recipe using gluten free flour. 2 eggs, 100g castor sugar, 100g (gluten free) self raising flour, 100g melted butter, zest and juice of one small lemon. Method, whisk eggs and sugar together then add the rest of the ingredients and mix together lightly. Put spoonfuls into the tin and bake at 180c until they are risen and lightly browned around the edges. Leave to cool for a few minutes and then ease the cakes out of the tin. I used a rubber spatula to make sure I didn't scratch the non stick. Dust with icing sugar and eat while still warm. I made 16 with this quantity. I forgot to take a photo, but will add one after my next bake. I am very pleased with my purchase.

Brilliant product - - easy to use and clean. Conducts heat efficiently for even rise and a beautiful golden brown crust on the madelines. Been loving it.

Since buying this i have been making madelines frequently. The only problem with this metallic tray is that it is hard to remove the madelines unless you butter and flour the pan before baking. Great imprint on the cake and good size too.
