do they use batteries

The lights are powered by sunlight. Each light has a solar panel which uses sunlight to charge the lights internal batteries. Under normal use, there should be no need to change the batteries.

How many Lumens are these please?

I dont know the lumen measurement,but they are very bright and excellent at night

If this device was setup to be on the darkness mode, how long does the battery lasts for please ?

I am not sure as have never used like that but it would depend on how much sun light you had the day before and wether you had flattened the battery the day before that.
