Price is a bit stiff but they fit
I had a vintage, US-made Gibson bass needing two pointers and was apprehensive about buyers reporting the cheaper versions not fitting such instruments, instead being made for the imported Epiphone versions. Cheaper versions also didn't always match the originals in appearance. Needed something immediately and didn't want to waste time so I ponied up and paid $25 for these. They fit perfectly and are a perfect match to the existing pointers. One star detracted for the price of what is obviously a VERY inexpensive item to produce.

good for keeping track of that dialed-in tone
I really like these because they give me an easy, instant, and precise visual cue for where my settings are at. Knobs can get turned in all sorts of situations, and it's much easier for me to be able to just immediately know "oh that one needs to be on 6 for the sound I like" and just be able to do that. I've put them on all my guitars. They are solidly made, won't bend, and also aren't super sharp so if you rake a finger across one you won't end up bleeding. I put them on instead of the washer between the body and the nut, though I know a lot of people like to put them on between the nut and the washer so there's less risk of scratching the lacquer. It just seems more secure, like it's not going to get turned to the side if it IS the washer.

Nice touch to any guitar!
I like these a lot. I added them to my Les Paul Custom after seeing a couple guitarsat Guitar Center with them. I use a loop pedal live, and for various rhythm dubs I adjust the tone nob.I use to just guess, which is easy when you're playing at home because if it doesn't sound quite right you canguess again. However live you don't have time to redo it. Now I can adjust my neck pickups tone to 5, 3, then back to 10 withthe songs sounding EXACTLY the same every time I play.Installation is easy, as you could imagine.

Get to the point with Gibson Vintage pointers.
Had these on a '64 Melody Maker and a' 68 ES335TD and wanted the same look on my LP. Excellent product and quality. Used these pointers with the speed knobs and it really adds that extra detail that we all have to do to our guitars to make it our unique look.

Worth the little extra money
I was building a 1959 Les Paul DC Junior and used these pointers. Much better looking then the aftermarket ones. Had those and they just didn’t look or feel right. Not a huge deal but if your picky about authenticity then there is no question. Easy to install.

Easy to install, looks as expected, does not cut my fingers.
If you are looking for vintage Gibson pointers these are them. Unlike some reviewers, I cannot seem to cut my fingers even if I try. Happy with the in my LP Studio.

Just what I needed!
I have 3 Gibson Les Pauls: a Studio, a Standard, and a Traditional. The Traditional is my most recent purchase and when I got it, I noticed that it had these "level indicators", as I call them, on the volume and tone controls. I liked that feature so much that I bought these on Amazon and put them on the Les Paul Studio. I absolutely love them and plan to buy another set for my Les Paul Standard.

Nice upgrade!!
I put a set of these on my Epiphone ES335 pro. They fit a little loose, but they fit!! The quality is great and the look is great old American ingenuity!! I have a set on my 1960 Gibson Les Paul Reissue. They are exact size on the Gibson pots, a little loose on the Epiphone pots.
