love these , i just used these to assist in installing a steel entrance door made it sooooooo easy , also used it to lift my very heavy 65 inch plasma tv stand to install felt pads

I have used my larger Irwin / other brand clamps for years as lifting clamps and they work great as long as what you are lifting sits off the surface by at least 8 inches or so depending on the clamp. These are a must have though in situations where you have a very small clearance. (Adjusting a window or door during install for example). A little awkwardly shaped and I need to figure out where to store them but they are going to be very helpful when I install some new sliding doors next month.

Forks bend easily -- not a useful tool. Works on light items, not suitable for heavier items...

I know some people reported difficulty with these, but I had no problem and they worked create. As a single person installing cabinet by myself, this tool was a lifesaver. I wish I had had it when I was refinishing my doors. Also, the price was much more reasonable than some other brands.

I got these because I can never open my windows. These actually help me get the windows open.

These are nice tools with a decent range of uses. Having noted that, the arms are shorter than I like. Another inch of reach would make these great to use instead of nice to have.
