Nice inexpensive battery works
I have Panasonic FZ150K. I bought this as a back up to Lumix original battery. Panasonic batteries have an ID chip which causes problems when you use generics in latest cameras. So far, no such problems with this generic. First, it charges in the panasonic charger, just like original. Right off the pack, it was fully charged in 2-3 hours, green charger light went off after charging is complete, battery did not feel hot. Charging time; comparable to original. Second, after putting in the camera, it worked just fine. Battery level indicator "shows"; unlike other generic batteries that do not show battery power. There may be variations among various generics that flooded market and many of them do not show battery level indicator. This one does show. So, I am very happy. It showed full three bars when I placed fully charged battery in the camera and all menu functions are accessible. So, get this as an inexpensive backup and you cannot go wrong. You can always use this first before you use your original panasonic when you are taking hundreds of pictures in a single day. I will strongly recommend.

Great Price, Almost fits
Considering the price of this battery is just 16% of what Panasonic charges for the same model, I knew I would not be getting the same thing as the original but figured it would be worth the risk to try it out. The good news is the battery is fully compatible with my new Panasonic DMC-FZ70 and the battery charge level shows up in the viewfinder just like with the Panasonic battery. The battery life between charges appears to be comparable to the Panasonic brand. The only "downside" (and the reason I did not give it 5 stars) is this battery is ever so slightly wider than the Panasonic branded one. It fits in the camera but the spring was not strong enough to push it up when the release is pressed. I was left with having to pry the battery out of the camera with a pointed awl. I then wet sanded both sides of the battery lightly with some 440 grit sandpaper. After the sanding it fit perfectly and the battery no longer binds in the camera. Took all of 5 minutes. So if you're willing to put in a little effort, you get a perfectly sound battery at a fraction of the price of the Panasonic branded one.

Good spare batteries to have
I needed a few spare batteries for my Panasonic FZ-80 digital cameras and got batteries for other cameras from Kastar before with no problems and got a few spare batteries from them for my new FZ-80 camera and these batteries work well enough. They take a bit of time to charge....6 hours tops and seem to last quite awhile on a single charge. I cannot say how many photos I took with a single battery charge because I take a large mix of photos with and without flash, but easy to say I took over 1000 photos with and without flash on a single charge. Great spare batteries. Thanks.

Battery life is not long for the way I use ...
Battery life is not long for the way I use my camera. I always keep one charged and in the case. They are not expensive, and will buy the 3rd battery the next time I order to always have plenty of backup.

Died after just over a year
It worked great for about the year or so that I used it; it didn't have quite the capacity of the official Panasonic battery but still did fairly well. Just recently, it completely died. No longer chargeable and the camera doesn't turn on. The only reason I gave value for money 3 stars was mostly because of how inexpensive it is... and, in the end, I basically paid for what I got.

Great battery. Great price
I have had mixed success buying aftermarket batteries for my digital cameras and camcorders and I wasn't sure what to expect with this one. The reviews that I read on this battery suggested that it might or might not show up on the camera's display to indicate its capacity. Well, I was very happy when I got this battery charged up and it did in fact work properly. It is as good as the name-brand battery that came with the camera. I have to say I'm very pleased.

Dead on arrival
I bought a new camera and this battery to have as a spare. The battery listed the exact model of my camera. After receiving the camera I charged both the original battery and this one. The original battery charged within 3 hours as specified. It took this battery over 15 hours for the camera to indicate it was charged or maybe it just timed out. I suspected something was wrong with the battery before trying it. I put it in the camera and the camera would not turn on so I put the original battery in that came with the camera and it came right up. I don't like to give a 1 star review but there is no choice when the product is totally defective when it arrives. The battery has a QC Passed sticker on it. It is always possible but rare for a battery to test out okay and then short out internally before it is even used.
