I was impressed by the battery life.
I had a tall Elm tree along my property line that was leaning over my Dogwood tree (due to a windstorm) and was able to remove the branches that would have damaged my Dogwood from the Elm before cutting down the Elm. It took around an hour to trim and only used one battery. I have used chain saws before and know the importance of keeping the chain oiled. I was a little concerned about it not being equipped with an auto oiler, but it was not inconvenient because I oiled the chain in between each cut using the little oil bottle that comes with the saw. The weight is not bad when using the extension pole, but I think oiling between cuts gives your arms a break. My sister recommended this saw to me, and I figured if she could use it comfortably (she's 63; don't tell her I told her age), then so could I; I'm 68. It's not for professional use, but I would recommend it to a homeowner; it's definitely a good tool to have around. It comes with two chains, which I believe will last me quite a while for home use. The chains seem to be of decent quality, as good as the chain I use on my gas-powered chainsaw, but take into account that Elm is soft wood, and the biggest branch diameter was 3". You can sharpen the chains if you want, but the price for replacement chains is very reasonable. I would buy the set again but doubt that I will have to because it will last me for what I'm using it for.

A beast of a saw!
I am a 68 year old man and have been using this saw now for over 3 weeks. The telescoping pole is convenient and locks in place as it should. The saw is powerful and cuts even dry limbs with ease. Its light weight makes it easy to extend it over your head with arms extended without difficulty. The saw will angle as needed making the cuts easy. The batteries last for hours on a charge with intermittent use, which is how you normally work trimming limbs. But even using the saw alone constantly to cut up fallen limbs, the batteries last a very long time. The indicator telling you remaining charge is nice. Having 2 batteries with one ready in reserve let's you work continously. I have had no problem with the chain coming off as some reviews state. Although I learned years ago to keep the chain away from whispy shrubs and tiny growth, as they will cause even the chain on my normal chain saw too run off track...so I avoid that and stick to harder, stiffer wood. I never thought I'd use an electric chainsaw, but even my wife enjoys using this as its so much easier than loppers or a hand saw. Highly recommend this product and this package. It has 2 batteries and the charger for a very reasonable price!. Only thing I wish it had was a zipper storage bag to keep it all in...but other than that....absolutely perfect.

Great little saw for the money
This saw paid for itself the first time I used it as far as I'm concerned. It take stress off the back and body from having to wield a full sized chainsaw for de-limbing fallen trees. We had a bad winter storm with super heavy snow and wind that took down a LOT of trees and branches. There was and still is a tremendous amount of cleanup. This saw allows you to more easily cut away the tree canopies/branches before sawing up the tree trunks and larger branches.Battery life is reasonable but I found a weakness. This saw likes to jump or bounce when freestyle cutting branches. I didn't think anything about it other that is was a bit annoying, until one day I realized it was not cutting all the way through, say, a 2" branch. The chain was still sharp, so that wasn't the problem. Upon further inspection, I realized that the chain bar groove was a little bit "mushroomed" or damaged, so after the chain got through the wood, the bar was now wider than the chain preventing the bar from easily passing through along with the cut.I realized I could flip the bar, putting the damaged edge up. But I was also able to skillfully hammer/tap (I'm pretty good with tools, and an old metal guy, so I have the instinct for this) the edge back in to shape and file it clean. So, all that "bouncing" actually showed how weak the metal chain bar groove. I know to avoid that bouncing as much as possible now.SeeSii customer service was responsive and led me to where I could buy a new bar (only with a new chain too), which is good. More than 25% the cost of the entire tool that came with 2 batteries and two chains, but at least its available so the whole tool doesn't become useless at some point. This tool is a good trial tool, to tell me when it fails, to invest in a professional quality version. The concept itself is so useful.I saw reviews from people complaining it's not for left handed people. I'm right handed, but one of the things I like about this tool is I can easily operate it ambidextrously. In fact, holding it with the left hand makes it a natural position to hold the safety button...actually defeating the purpose of the safety button, which is fine by me. I would rather not have the safety button anyway.

DONT BUY IT
The media could not be loaded. I bought this machine on JANUARY, and it was perfect at first it helped me a lot BUT it STOP WORKING on JUNE! I didn’t use it for any hard stuff only for simple small plants, and it didn’t even lasted for half a year!!! I’ve been writing emails to the company leaving comment on the website for an entire month and NO REPLIEs. It’s a machine it should at less lasted for a year and so. The POOR QUALITY of the item and the AWFUL SUPPORT from the company. I don't really recommend people buying it if they are looking for a long term used item.

Does what it says on the tin
This is light enough to use one-handed at full stretch, even balancing on the top of a stepladder. So combined I was able to get to branches above 16ft. Sharp enough to go through 3 to 4 inch branches too. After an hour of that I still had more than 50% battery. And it comes with two batteries! Amazing tool.

Battery operated is the wave of the future! 💯
Ok people I cannot stress how amazing this battery operated chainsaw works! I’ve owned several chainsaws in my life, but DAMN… I’ve never seen anything like this. I used the 16’ telescoping pole to cut limbs in the top of my tree, and then used it on the ground as a mini chainsaw to cut the big pieces down. WOW this thing cuts… and it cuts quick! It works just as good as a gas powered chainsaw so do respect it. Enjoy!
