Much better than expected! Sturdy, heavy, and fits everything nicely
So I brought this into the office along with my accessories as I'm now here on a regular basis. Though there's already a knock box here, I wanted to have a better way to organize and keep all of my accessories together as well as have a better surface for puck prep than a granite countertop. I was impressed with how heavy and sturdy it is as was frankly expecting it to be lighter. The knock box is actually quite nice in that the rubber base is on the end which I much prefer to the traditional crossbar. There's also 2 little handles that slide up to pull it out the knock box to empty it without actually getting in the way of anything. There's a little rubber end on the threaded portafilter leveler that I brought to the height of its adjustment but it ends up working nicely. Have to take everything out and empty everything occasionally but it's part of the weekly cleaning routine for everything so really not a big deal. Obviously their tamper and distributor fit perfectly but so did my 3d printed WDT tool (upside down), puck screen (with room for a second one), and portafilter. And while there's no seperate space for a funnel, I put it on top of the portafilter when I'm not using it, or just flat on the same spot otherwise.Never thought I'd like using one but here it ended up being very convenient to keep everything nice and organized and accessible. The fact that it looks great is a nice bonus.

I didn't want to buy the most expensive tamping station, but...
I bought 4 or 5 tamping stations and promptly returned each one when they did not properly fit my Gaggia portafilter. It seemed like every 58mm station had too wide of a "hole" for the portafilter, resulting in the "wings" of my 58mm Gaggia portafilter not actually resting on the edges, and instead falling into the holes.Enter the IKAPE V2 knock box/tamping station. I really did not want to spend this much, but I liked that it would hold all of my accessories and included a removable knock box within a relatively small footprint. I figured if it actually fit my 58mm portafilter properly, then I would keep it.When this arrived, the first thing I did was check the fit of the portafilter support hole. Perfect fit. Darn it, I guess I am keeping this expensive block of wood, but wow, the build quality is quite nice. The fit and finish is quite good, and the knock box removes easily for cleaning. The only thing I am slightly disappointed in is the lack of rubber discs in the bottoms of the accessory recesses. This is a nice touch that was included on many of the cheaper tamping stations that I tried, but it's only slightly annoying to not find them included with this station.Overall, I am really happy with this beautifully finished, full-featured, expensive block of wood. Yes, it's pricey, but it looks great, holds your tools and your expended pucks, and will generally keep your espresso station nicely organized and looking slick for those flashy Instagram reels, if you're into that sort of thing.

Nice and sturdy
This is a really well constructed box, and fits all of my 58.3/58.5mm accessories, and the side handles on the puck box allows for easy removal. This claims to be “drop proof,” however who actually is going to put that to the test? Unless your shelf collapses, no one is going to accidentally knock this thing off the table with how weighty this is.This is my very first knock box I have ever owned and seen as a matter of fact, and the impression I got from it are all on the positive side. Does it justify for the price being 30-60 bucks more than it’s competitors, that’s up to you to decide. One minor thing I think they can improve (at least for me) is making the metal ring inserts for the WDT holes curve inwards, at least for half of the diameter of the ring. As it is now, whenever I put back my WDT tool, the needle often gets caught but the flat side edges, but if it’s curved inwards, it’ll guide the needles in naturally. And making half of it curve while keeping the other half the same so your tool can still rest properly on it.

All fixed—I was initially sent the wrong size, but they’ve corrected it!
Addendum: I received the new box—it works perfectly! Still, I would love for you to put the size of the box on the cardboard packaging to inform the customer. Also, since some distributors come with protective caps, you may want to consider enlarging the holes for them to accommodate the distributor/tamper WITH the cap. Overall, though this will suit me just fine. Thanks for all of your communication! While purportedly a 58mm version, I was likely sent the 54mm version. , 58mm accessories like tampers and distribution tools will not fit in their openings. These storage openings are smaller than the tamping opening, which technically is 58mm, but doesn't work for 58mm portofilters because it doesn't take into account that while the portofilter BASKET is 58mm, the portofilter that holds the basket is obviously larger, so the unit won't fit. They should have made the accessory storage areas about 62mm and the tamping opening about 70mm or so to ensure all items would work as the unit seems otherwise perfect for my setup. It's possible I was sent the wrong item, the 54mm version, but the tamping opening is exactly 58mm. However, again, it won't work with a 58mm portofilter. The box doesn't list the size either, so there's no way for me to prove it's the right or wrong size. THEIR COMMUNICATION WAS EXCELLENT AND THEY SENT ME THE CORRECT BOX!
